  What Are You Willing to Lose to Gain Something Better? (Philippians 3:7) "But what were gains for me, are now considered losses for Christ."   Philippians 3:7 KSB    In business, people often speak of losses and gains. They prepare budgets, measure profits, and reconcile accounts to see where they stand. Paul, in Philippians chapter 3, uses this same language but applies it to his spiritual journey. He says, everything I once thought was a gain, I now count as loss for the sake of Christ.    Paul had knowledge, wealth, status, and influence, yet he called it all “dung” compared to knowing Christ.   I AM God’s Dearly Beloved: Living in His Love  "Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly beloved offspring."  (Ephesians 5:1) KSB    When we hear the phrase “dearly beloved” , it’s usually in a wedding, funeral, baptism, or other sacred moment. Some may even recall it from a Prince song. But here’s the truth: you don’t need a special occasion to hear those words. Every single day, you can look in the mirror and boldly affirm, “I AM God’s dearly beloved. I AM deeply loved.”    God’s love is not occasional. It is everlasting , unconditional, and unshakable. Baptism into Christ unites us, dissolving the worldly labels that divide and diminish our connection to one another. In that sacred union, we shed the false identifiers society has placed upon us.  These labels race, gender, social status are not who we truly are. They shift with time and culture. For example, Black people have been called Negro, Afro-American, African American, and people of color.   There Is Only One Life: Let Christ Live Through You    “The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.” "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." – Galatians 2:20    In Galatians 2:20, the apostle Paul shares a divine revelation. Our life is not our own.  He boldly proclaims that he was crucified with Christ-his ego, his old life, his personal ambitions were all nailed to the cross. Yet, he lives not as Paul alone, but as Christ living through him. This is the essence of the Christian journey, allowing Christ to live His life through us.  Jesus is more than a teacher or prophet, he is our Way-shower revealing what it means to be both fully human and fully divine.
