The New Math of Christ: Embracing Divine Equality, Identity, and Oneness

The New Math: Understanding Divine Equality Through the Mind of Christ

Human figure glowing with divine light representing spiritual identity

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus..." – Philippians 2:5-11

“The New Math” is a spiritual framework that redefines how we see ourselves in relation to God. It teaches that we are not separate from the Divine, nor are we inferior or superior but rather unique, equal expressions of God in the earth. This revelation calls us to embrace the mind of Christ and live from a place of divine awareness.

Rooted in Philippians 2:5–11, this teaching invites us to adopt the same consciousness demonstrated by Christ one of humility, unity, and divine identity. It is not about elevating ego, but about awakening truth.

Firstly: Understanding “God with Skin.” The essence of this teaching is that humanity reflects divinity in physical form. Like a cup of water taken from the ocean, the substance remains the same. In the same way, the spirit within each person carries the nature of God. Accepting this truth means embracing responsibility to express wholeness, love, and divine character in everyday life.

Secondly: Rejecting the “Less Than” Mindset. One of the greatest barriers to spiritual growth is the belief that we are less than God or less than others. This mindset produces insecurity, shame, and limitation. However, operating in the mind of Christ requires the release of inferiority and the recognition that nothing external defines your true identity.

Thirdly: Avoiding the “Greater Than” Trap. On the opposite end is the illusion of superiority. Pride, ego, and arrogance arise when individuals see themselves as greater than others or even greater than God. True humility is not weakness, it is clarity. It is knowing that while we are divine in nature, we remain connected to and sourced by God.

Fourthly: Embracing Equality and Oneness. The heart of “The New Math” is the equation 1 = 1. This represents unity with God. Just as Christ did not consider equality with God robbery, we too are invited into that awareness. This is not about becoming God in ego, but recognizing oneness in essence. In this place, we are aligned with our highest good and connected to all life.

Fifthly: Living as a Divine Expression. The practical application of this truth is powerful. While we may not be omnipresent, we are fully present. While not omnipotent, we are spiritually potent. Wherever we go, we carry the ability to express love, joy, healing, and transformation. The human body becomes a temple for divine expression, revealing God in everyday life.

In conclusion, “The New Math” calls us to reject false identities and embrace divine truth. We are not less than. We are not greater than. We are one with God. By stepping into this awareness, we unlock the fullness of our spiritual potential and live as empowered expressions of divine purpose.

This is the equation of truth:

   Less Than ≠ You

   Greater Than ≠ You

   Equality (1 = 1) = Your Divine Identity

📖 Reflection: Are you living from a mindset of “less than,” “greater than,” or true divine equality?

💡 Action Step: Affirm daily: “I have the mind of Christ. I am one with God, expressing divine purpose with humility and power.”

Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the...
The Sacred Sunday Posture:  Kneeling “ A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees; if you are willing, you can make me clean (Mark 1:40).” In addition to bowing your heads and closing your eyes, many people learn to “get on your knees and pray.” Often, it’s at night before going to sleep. Parents instruct their children to kneel on the side of the bed and say their prayers. Perhaps you have fond memories of kneeling and reciting the Lord’s Prayer or the 23 rd Psalm. Or maybe you were taught, like me, “Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake. I pray the Lord, my soul, to take. God bless mommy, daddy...” Kneeling is a physical way to revere God as your Creator and remember that God is your Source. “Know that it is the Lord, who is God. It is he that has made us and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3).” Without reverencing and ...

Where Is the Love? Learning to Recognize God's Presence Through Galatians 5

Where Is the Love?    One of my favorite duets is by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack: "Where Is the Love?" It asks, "Where is the love that you said you would give to me?" It's a timeless question and one that’s just as spiritually relevant today.    In Galatians 5 , Paul writes to the churches in Galatia about the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. He helps believers understand how to discern what’s truly of God. And here's the spiritual compass: love is God's signature . "And envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."   Galatians 5:21 (KSB)    Whatever you do whether it’s cooking a meal or making a major decision ask yourself: "Where is the love?" Is love your motive? Is love present in your tone, your actions, your intentions?  Paul’s letter urges us to determine whether we are operati...
