  Is Your Praise Transactional or Transformational? Understanding Galatians 1:24 "And they praised God because of me." – Galatians 1:24 (KSB)           In Galatians 1:24, the apostle Paul says, “They praised God because of me.” This powerful declaration points to a truth we often overlook, people praise God for different reasons. As Scripture reminds us, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” But why we praise and how we praise varies greatly.  For some, praise is transactional. It’s a spiritual exchange “If I praise God, He’ll bless me. If I don’t, He won’t.” This quid pro quo mindset mimics many earthly relationships we have with family, coworkers, or even friends. We transfer this thinking to our relationship with God, turning worship into a business deal. But the love of God is not conditional. It’s not based on our performance.
