  Everlasting Truth: The Divine Truth That Lives in Us (2 John 1:2) "Because of the truth which lives in us and will be with us forever:" – 2 John 1:2 (KSB)    In a world overflowing with falsehoods and confusion, learning to recognize and hold onto truth is essential. This passage reminds us that an everlasting truth lives within us, a truth that remains constant even when the world around us shifts. The challenge is to discern, embrace, and live from that truth despite the many deceptive voices encountered daily.     First, truth is God. Truth is not subjective or relative; it is absolute because it flows from the very nature of God.   God Is, I Am, We Are — Living from the Eternal “I AM” "God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM.' And he said, 'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.'" – Exodus 3:14    In Exodus 3:14, God reveals a profound truth about His nature: I AM WHO I AM . This declaration reveals God as eternal, self-existent, unchanging, and unlimited. God is the source of all being the ultimate reality from which all life flows. When God names Himself “I AM,” He unveils a divine identity that also speaks to who we are as His creation.     God is unlimited potential. Because God embodies limitless potential, we can affirm, “I am unlimited potential,” and “we are unlimited potential.” Being made in His image means that no human life is confined by earthly limits.   Ministers Need Healing Too: Finding Restoration in the House of God (Matthew 8:14–15) "When Jesus came into Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. Jesus touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve them." – Matthew 8:14–15    Ministers need healing, just like all people. Being in ministry does not exempt anyone from the need for healing, and needing healing does not disqualify anyone from serving. The word minister simply means “to serve” in the Kingdom. Every believer is called to serve whether through preaching, teaching, administration, technology, or outreach. Recognizing this truth helps us live out our divine purpose. Even though one may carry the title of minister, healing remains essential because ministers are not immune to struggles or brokenness. While many may not bear physical chains, countless individuals remain imprisoned by thoughts, emotions, or circumstances that hinder spiritual and emotional liberty. Paul’s appeal to Philemon to forgive and accept Onesimus as a brother, beautifully demonstrates the divine principles that lead to true freedom.   Cops and Robbers: Arresting Fear, Force, and Faking (John 10:1–3) "Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs up another way, that one is a thief and a robber. There is no shortage of love because God is love . To believe that love is lacking would mean believing that God is lacking, which is impossible. Every person, every living creature, and all of creation have access to an infinite supply of God’s love. It may come from unexpected places and people, but it remains ever-abundant.   I AM God’s Dearly Beloved: Living in His Love  "Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly beloved offspring."  (Ephesians 5:1) KSB    When we hear the phrase “dearly beloved” , it’s usually in a wedding, funeral, baptism, or other sacred moment. He invites the church at Ephesus to remember where God brought them from, stirring gratitude in their hearts. Gratitude is not just a feeling; it’s a powerful spiritual tool that keeps us anchored in God’s will.  Some people keep a gratitude journal, jotting down blessings each day. Others begin or end their day reflecting on what they are thankful for. However, you choose to do it, make gratitude a daily habit.
