God Is, I Am, We Are: Living in God’s Unlimited Potential and Endless Possibilities

“Moses encountering God at the burning bush as God declares I AM WHO I AM.”

God Is, I Am, We Are — Living from the Eternal “I AM”

"God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM.' And he said, 'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.'" – Exodus 3:14

In Exodus 3:14, God reveals a profound truth about His nature: I AM WHO I AM. This declaration reveals God as eternal, self-existent, unchanging, and unlimited. God is the source of all being the ultimate reality from which all life flows. When God names Himself “I AM,” He unveils a divine identity that also speaks to who we are as His creation.

God is unlimited potential. Because God embodies limitless potential, we can affirm, “I am unlimited potential,” and “we are unlimited potential.” Being made in His image means that no human life is confined by earthly limits. What we can create, become, or do expands as we align with the divine nature within us. Individually and collectively, we are capable of far more than we imagine when we tap into the God-given potential placed in us.

God is endless possibilities. Since God contains infinite possibility, our lives likewise open into possibility when we align with Him. With God, there are no dead ends, no hopeless situations, no ceilings on what He can bring to pass. Standing in the divine “I AM” frees us from fear, small thinking, and self-imposed limits. Scripture reminds us, “With God all things are possible,” and when our hearts agree with this truth, our lives begin to reflect it.

God is limitless expressions. Every expression found in creation, diversity in race, culture, background, personality, or appearance is a reflection of the boundless creativity of God. None of these expressions define or confine us; instead, they reveal God’s beauty and variety. Understanding this frees us from rigid identities or labels that limit our growth. We are continually being shaped, renewed, and transformed. The limitless God is expressed uniquely through each person.

Finally, we affirm the inexhaustible nature of God’s supply. God’s abundance cannot be depleted. No need, request, or circumstance can drain His resources. When we recognize this, generosity becomes natural. We give freely because we trust that God gives freely. We live in abundance because we know our Source is infinite.

This teaching calls us to examine our Three T’s: our Thinking, our Theology, and our Treatment of others. When we understand God as unlimited potential, endless possibilities, and limitless expressions, our thoughts become expansive, our words become life-giving, and our actions reflect divine abundance. We begin living not from fear or limitation but from freedom, faith, and spiritual truth.

Exodus 3:14 reminds us that the divine identity “I AM” is not merely a name, it is an invitation. Because God is, we are. Because God is unlimited, we carry divine potential. Because God is endless possibility, our path is never closed. Because God is limitless expression, we can grow, transform, and embrace the fullness of who we are created to be.

May this truth encourage you to walk boldly in the abundance, freedom, and spiritual identity that flow from the great “I AM.”

📖 Reflection: Where in your life have you accepted limitations that do not align with God’s unlimited nature?

💡 Action Step: Speak one “I AM” affirmation today that aligns with God’s truth such as “I am unlimited potential” and live intentionally into it.

Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the...
The Sacred Sunday Posture:  Kneeling “ A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees; if you are willing, you can make me clean (Mark 1:40).” In addition to bowing your heads and closing your eyes, many people learn to “get on your knees and pray.” Often, it’s at night before going to sleep. Parents instruct their children to kneel on the side of the bed and say their prayers. Perhaps you have fond memories of kneeling and reciting the Lord’s Prayer or the 23 rd Psalm. Or maybe you were taught, like me, “Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake. I pray the Lord, my soul, to take. God bless mommy, daddy...” Kneeling is a physical way to revere God as your Creator and remember that God is your Source. “Know that it is the Lord, who is God. It is he that has made us and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3).” Without reverencing and ...

Where Is the Love? Learning to Recognize God's Presence Through Galatians 5

Where Is the Love?    One of my favorite duets is by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack: "Where Is the Love?" It asks, "Where is the love that you said you would give to me?" It's a timeless question and one that’s just as spiritually relevant today.    In Galatians 5 , Paul writes to the churches in Galatia about the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. He helps believers understand how to discern what’s truly of God. And here's the spiritual compass: love is God's signature . "And envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."   Galatians 5:21 (KSB)    Whatever you do whether it’s cooking a meal or making a major decision ask yourself: "Where is the love?" Is love your motive? Is love present in your tone, your actions, your intentions?  Paul’s letter urges us to determine whether we are operati...
