One Nation: It’s All You! Moving from Fear to Love

One Nation: It’s All You! "...and transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul and establish David’s throne over Israel and Judah from Dan to Beersheba." – 2 Samuel 3:10    The transfer of the kingdom from the house of Saul to the house of David illustrates more than a change in leadership. It serves as a powerful picture of the inner transformation that takes place within every believer. It represents the continual movement from fear toward love as God shapes our hearts and renews our minds.    The Christian journey is not simply about changing external circumstances; it is about allowing God's love to increasingly govern our thoughts, attitudes, and actions. As love grows stronger, fear gradually loses its influence. The Journey from Fear to Love Firstly: The House of Saul — Fear    Saul's house represents fear. Fear is part of the human experience in a fallen world. Although Scripture teaches that God gives us a spirit o...

Kingdom Perfection: Understanding the Four Expressions of Love Through God’s Divine Nature

Kingdom Perfection: Love "After David finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself." – 1 Samuel 18:1    Love is not a collection of separate, disconnected emotions. At its highest truth, there is only one love , and that love is God. God does not merely possess love as one of His attributes  God is love . His love is perfect, unconditional, eternal, and limitless.    This singular divine love flows through humanity and expresses itself in different ways depending on the nature of our relationships. Though we often classify love into categories, these categories are not separate loves. Rather, they are unique expressions of the same divine source.    The bond between David and Jonathan beautifully demonstrates the depth and power of divine love expressed through human relationships. Their covenant friendship reveals that love can transcend simple labels and become a profou...

My Altar – Part 6: Revelation, Love, and Inspiration

My Altar – Part 6: Revelation, Love, and Inspiration "Beloved, let us not only love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." – 1 John 3:18    Prayer is more than a religious activity; it is a daily spiritual practice that connects us with the timeless truth of God. Throughout this series on building a personal altar, symbolic items have been used to represent specific areas of spiritual focus. These symbols help transform abstract truths into practical reminders that shape daily living.    In Part 6, three important altar items are introduced: an open Bible representing revelation, love representing motivation, and a lightbulb representing inspiration. Together, these symbols remind believers to remain grounded in God’s Word, motivated by divine love, and open to life-changing revelation through the Holy Spirit. Firstly: Literature (Open Bible - Revelation)    The open Bible serves as a powerful symbol of revelati...

Love Beyond the Labels — Embracing Divine Oneness and Inclusion

Love Beyond the Labels — Embracing Divine Oneness and Inclusion "Because the daughters of the tribe of Manasseh received an inheritance among the sons. The land of Gilead belonged to the rest of the descendants of Manasseh." – Joshua 17:6    In a world filled with categories, titles, and distinctions, God calls us to a higher way of living  love beyond the labels . Joshua 17:6 reveals a powerful truth: even in a culture bound by tradition, God made room for inclusion, allowing daughters to receive inheritance alongside sons.    This teaching reminds us that divine love is not limited by human systems. It transcends every label and invites us to see one another as God sees us  divine offspring , connected in spiritual unity.     Definition: Love Beyond the Labels is the practice of seeing others through the eyes of God rather than through social, physical, or personal categories. It calls us to embrace inclusive langua...

Love or Lousy: Healing the Heart Through Divine Oneness

Love or Lousy: Choosing Divine Oneness Over Jealousy "Place me like a seal over your heart… for love is as strong as death… many waters cannot quench love." – Song of Solomon 8:6-7    At the center of life is the condition of the heart both physical and spiritual. Scripture reminds us that love is powerful, unquenchable, and eternal . Yet, alongside love exists a distortion of the heart known as jealousy, which can quietly disrupt our sense of peace, identity, and divine connection.    The choice becomes clear: Love or Lousy . To live in love is to align with God and truth. To live “lousy” is to remain disconnected through jealousy, comparison, and insecurity.     Firstly: Caring for the Physical and Metaphysical Heart. True heart health requires attention to both the body and the spirit. Physically, we are called to care for our bodies through mindful choices. Spiritually, we must examine the deeper emotional patterns especial...

The Kingdom Is Spiritual: Living Beyond the Physical into Divine Consciousness

The Kingdom Is Spiritual: Living in Divine Consciousness "And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God." – Romans 8:27    The Kingdom of God is not a physical place, it is a spiritual reality . It is a state of consciousness defined by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit . To live in the Kingdom is to move beyond outward appearances and step into a deeper awareness of divine truth.    This spiritual understanding invites us to shift from a surface-level perspective to a higher consciousness where God’s presence governs every thought, action, and experience.     Firstly: Releasing Physical and Temporary Divisions. Kingdom living requires a shift away from external identifiers such as race, age, gender, culture, or status. These temporary labels do not define who you are. Even religious debates and traditions can distrac...

Choosing Love Over Fear: Embracing God’s Perfect Love

Choosing Love Over Fear: Embracing God’s Perfect Love (1 John 4:18) "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." – 1 John 4:18 (KSB)    Every day presents a choice between love and fear. Scripture reminds us that perfect love expels fear, because fear is rooted in the expectation of punishment. Yet God has given us not a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and a sound mind. Many people never experience the love they long for because fear dominates their thoughts and emotions. Choosing love over fear opens the door to transformation, renewal, and divine peace.    Firstly, some people hold a deep fear of health. They wonder what changes wellness might require and become afraid of the responsibility that comes with wholeness. This fear keeps them trapped in sickness, pain, and dysfunction. To truly love health is to identify fully with it wit...

Love That Transforms: How God’s Love Uncovers, Recovers, and Discovers

Love That Transforms: How God’s Love Uncovers, Recovers, and Discovers (1 Peter 4:8) "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." – 1 Peter 4:8    Love is the most powerful force in the universe. Scripture teaches us that genuine, Christ-centered love has the ability to reach into the hidden places of the heart, those areas many try to numb with distractions such as substances, relationships, shopping, or other forms of escape. Love uncovers these buried wounds and brings them into the light so true healing can begin.    Secondly, love recovers . God’s love does not expose pain to shame us; it exposes pain to heal us. Love nurtures growth, unfolding, becoming, and overcoming. When we step into love, God’s love, we simultaneously step into a process of recovery from the hurts, disappointments, and traumas of our past.    Thirdly, love discovers . Once the wounds are uncovered and re...

Get Out of People’s Beds: Honoring God’s Design for Marriage

Get Out of People’s Beds (Hebrews 13:4) "Marriage is honorable in all things, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge." – Hebrews 13:4 (KSB)    Marriage is not just a social construct; it is a divine covenant. Scripture calls it honorable and sacred , signifying a profound spiritual and relational bond. Yet, God’s Word reminds us that fornication and adultery are matters of divine judgment . These are not subjects for human condemnation but opportunities for reflection, humility, and respect for God’s moral boundaries.    Fornication refers to intimate relationships outside the covenant of marriage. While God upholds marriage as honorable, every person’s journey whether single, dating, cohabiting, divorced, or remarried is personal. We are called to respect one another’s paths without judgment , recognizing that only God truly understands the heart and motives behind each choice.      Marriage itse...

My Heart Is Big Enough: Expanding in Love and Acceptance

My Heart Is Big Enough (1 Timothy 5:1–2) "Do not rebuke elders harshly, but treat them like fathers. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity." – 1 Timothy 5:1–2 (KSB)    Your heart is big enough, and it is expanding. Your capacity to love is growing to the point where you can say, “Every man is my brother, every woman is my sister, every child is my child, and every person is my sibling of the universe.” You can grow in love, acceptance, and celebration of those who are different from you, regardless of their age, race, or gender.     Firstly, every man is your brother, every woman your sister, every child your child, and every person your sibling of the universe, regardless of educational level, socio-economic status, or orientation. Your heart can expand to embrace all people without limitation.     Secondly, your capacity to love extends beyond background...

Change the Way You Look at Giving: 3 Keys to Harmonious Relationships

Change the Way You Look at Giving "They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God."   1 Thessalonians 1:9 (KJV)    In order for us to experience harmonious relationships , we must first change the way we look at giving. A healthy relationship is always mutual both giving and receiving. But until we shift our perspective on giving, our relationships may remain filled with chaos, confusion, contention, competition, and comparison.  The Apostle Paul thanked the church at Thessalonica for the way they received him. In the same way, God calls us to create harmony in our relationships by embracing a new way of seeing giving. Let’s look at three truths that will transform the way we give. 1. I cannot give you what I do not have.    If I don’t have a million dollars, I cannot give it to you no matter how much I love you. Many of our frustrations come from expecting people to give us something they simply do not ha...

Love Can Last: Biblical Principles for Lasting Relationships

Love Can Last: Lessons from Ephesians 5:29 "For no one ever hates their own bodies; instead, they nourish and cherish them just as the Lord does the church."   Ephesians 5:29 (KSB)    In Ephesians 5, Paul offers us wise words for better living especially in our closest relationships. These principles apply to intimate partnerships, marriages, and even friendships. While some dismiss Paul’s words because he was never married, I believe that God’s wisdom can flow through anyone, regardless of marital status. Even those who are single, divorced, or widowed have valuable lessons to share. God uses all voices to teach us how to build lasting love and healthy relationships.  Paul’s teaching is clear: it must be love . Lust is not enough. Lust fades, and attraction can shift. Sometimes the person you love excites you; sometimes they frustrate you. If a relationship is built only on lust or temporary attraction, it will not last. True love, however, endures. It...

Where Is the Love? Learning to Recognize God's Presence Through Galatians 5

Where Is the Love?    One of my favorite duets is by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack: "Where Is the Love?" It asks, "Where is the love that you said you would give to me?" It's a timeless question and one that’s just as spiritually relevant today.    In Galatians 5 , Paul writes to the churches in Galatia about the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. He helps believers understand how to discern what’s truly of God. And here's the spiritual compass: love is God's signature . "And envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."   Galatians 5:21 (KSB)    Whatever you do whether it’s cooking a meal or making a major decision ask yourself: "Where is the love?" Is love your motive? Is love present in your tone, your actions, your intentions?  Paul’s letter urges us to determine whether we are operati...

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...
