Love or Lousy: Healing the Heart Through Divine Oneness

Love or Lousy: Choosing Divine Oneness Over Jealousy

"Place me like a seal over your heart… for love is as strong as death… many waters cannot quench love." – Song of Solomon 8:6-7

Glowing heart representing divine love and spiritual healing

At the center of life is the condition of the heart both physical and spiritual. Scripture reminds us that love is powerful, unquenchable, and eternal. Yet, alongside love exists a distortion of the heart known as jealousy, which can quietly disrupt our sense of peace, identity, and divine connection.

The choice becomes clear: Love or Lousy. To live in love is to align with God and truth. To live “lousy” is to remain disconnected through jealousy, comparison, and insecurity.

Firstly: Caring for the Physical and Metaphysical Heart. True heart health requires attention to both the body and the spirit. Physically, we are called to care for our bodies through mindful choices. Spiritually, we must examine the deeper emotional patterns especially jealousy that affect our inner life.

A healthy heart is not only strong in body, but also free in spirit.

Secondly: Releasing the Myth of a Jealous God. God is love pure, whole, and complete. Jealousy is rooted in insecurity, and therefore cannot exist within the divine nature. Holding onto the belief that God is jealous can unconsciously justify jealousy in our own lives. Healing begins when we embrace God as unconditional love.

Thirdly: Letting Go of Jealousy of Your Past Self. Many struggle with comparing who they are now to who they used to be. This internal conflict can prevent growth. However, spiritual evolution means becoming more not less. Your present self carries wisdom, strength, and awareness that your past self did not.

Fourthly: Overcoming Jealousy Through Oneness. Jealousy toward others dissolves when you understand oneness. You are a unique expression of God unrepeatable and complete. Another person’s success does not diminish your own. When you “gel” with God, yourself, and others, comparison loses its power.

Fifthly: Practicing Oneness Through Communion. Communion symbolizes unity on every level. The bread represents oneness with God, the cup represents internal harmony, and the fruit represents unity with others. Through this awareness, you affirm that you are whole and complete.

In conclusion, the decision is yours: Love or Lousy. Choosing love aligns you with divine truth, wholeness, and peace. Choosing jealousy leads to disconnection and limitation. As you release comparison and embrace oneness, your heart becomes healed, whole, and filled with divine love.

   Choose Love:

   • Release jealousy

   • Embrace your uniqueness

   • Align with divine love

   • Live in oneness

   • Experience a healed heart

📖 Reflection: Where in your life are you choosing comparison over connection?

💡 Action Step: Today, consciously release one comparison or jealous thought and replace it with the affirmation: “I am whole, complete, and one with divine love.”

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...

There’s a Grace on Your Life

There’s a Grace on Your Life "By grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."    Ephesians 2:8 (KSB)    In Ephesians chapter 2, one word stands out repeatedly: grace . But what is grace? Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His love poured out on us, not based on anything we've done or failed to do. It’s not about what we think or don’t think. It’s simply a gift. A beautiful, divine surprise.  Imagine receiving an unexpected bonus at work, you did your job, and suddenly you're given more than you earned. That’s grace. It comes when you least expect it and fills you with joy and wonder. This is how God extends His grace freely, abundantly, and lovingly.  Throughout Ephesians 2, Paul highlights how grace is woven into our salvation. “By grace you are saved” means you didn’t do it yourself. Salvation is the awakening in your spirit to the truth that  you are God's beloved .   ...
