Jesus’ words in John 8:32 reveal that true liberation begins within the mind and spirit. Freedom is not just an external shift; it is an inward awakening to divine truth.     Nobody else can put you in bondage but yourself. True bondage is mental bondage, captivity of the mind. External circumstances, societal labels, or even physical imprisonment cannot control your inner life unless you surrender your mental freedom. The Spirit of the Lord within you is liberty itself, and that inner freedom must reach your mind, emotions, intellect, and will. While many may not bear physical chains, countless individuals remain imprisoned by thoughts, emotions, or circumstances that hinder spiritual and emotional liberty.   Create Your Own: Freedom from Calendar Bondage (Galatians 4:10) "You are observing special days, months, seasons, and years!"   Galatians 4:10 KSB     Create your own rhythm, don’t let a calendar rule your life. The Spirit leads our lives, not dates on a page. You get to decide what holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, or traditions hold meaning in your life. Celebrate as much or as little as your spirit desires.   In Galatians 4, Paul expresses concern to the churches in Galatia. These believers had received the grace and love of Jesus Christ, stepping into freedom from the rituals of the law. Yet, they were still enslaved by religious observances, sabbaths, feast days, and holy rituals done out of duty and fear, rather than joy and freedom. Paul reminded them and reminded us that we are no longer bound by rules and religious calendars.   I Am Too Blessed to Be Cursed: Living Redeemed in Christ "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a cross.'"  Galatians 3:13      Are you operating in a Christ consciousness or a curse consciousness? You can't live in both. Paul makes it clear in Galatians 3 that Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Crucifixion, one of the most shameful forms of death, was the curse Jesus bore so we could live free.  You don’t have to live in fear. You don’t have to live anxious or worried about curses because Jesus already took them upon Himself. "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind."
