  The Great Beyond: Seeing, Hearing, and Responding to God's Voice "For this is what the Lord says to me: 'Within one year, as a hired worker counts the time, all the splendor of Kedar will come to an end.'" – Isaiah 21:16    The life of faith calls believers beyond what can be seen with natural eyes or understood by human reasoning. Isaiah demonstrates what it means to move beyond personal opinions and become fully available to God's purpose. As a prophet, Isaiah faithfully communicated God's message even when it was difficult or unpopular because his desire was to reflect God's will rather than his own.    The Great Beyond is a spiritual posture of surrender. It is choosing to become a willing vessel through whom God can speak, lead, and work.   I AM Open!: Staying Spiritually Receptive to God’s Voice "He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets." – 1 Samuel 28:6    Every believer longs to hear the voice of God. Yet there are seasons when heaven seems quiet and familiar avenues of guidance appear silent. In 1 Samuel 28:6, King Saul sought direction from the Lord, but he received no answer through dreams, the Urim, or the prophets. Rather than waiting patiently, Saul turned to an ungodly source for answers a decision that led him farther from God's will.    This passage reminds us that spiritual openness is not about forcing God to speak in the ways we expect. It is about remaining receptive to His leading, trusting His timing, and allowing Him to communicate according to His perfect wisdom.    Being open means maintaining a heart that is willing to receive God's guidance without resistance.
