Turn on the Light: Discover the Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding Within You

Turn on the Light: Discover the Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding Within You Isaiah 59:9 "It seems like justice is far from us. It appears that righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness. For brightness, but we walk in deep shadows." – Isaiah 59:9     Turn on the light. When life becomes dark, confusing, uncertain, or overwhelming, it can feel as though there is no clear direction. We may look for answers and find more questions. We may search for clarity and encounter confusion. We may look for brightness, only to feel as though we are walking through deep shadows.    Yet there is a powerful spiritual truth to remember: the light is within you. Turn on the light and become aware of the light that is already present within your being.    No matter how dark the situation appears, there is light available. You are connected to the light of God. Jesus declared that He was the light of the world...

Where Have You Been Looking? Finding God's Perspective for Life

Where Have You Been Looking? Finding God's Perspective for Life "In that day people will look to their Maker, and their eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel." – Isaiah 17:7    The Kingdom of God is more than a destination; it is a way of living and a way of seeing. Our perspective shapes how we respond to life's circumstances. Isaiah 17:7 points to a day when people will turn their eyes back to their Maker. This implies that, for a time, they had been looking elsewhere for answers, security, and direction.    A Kingdom perspective changes everything. It enables believers to recognize God's presence in every person, every place, and every circumstance. Jesus taught, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8). A heart that is surrendered to God begins to see His hand at work even in difficult situations, trusting that all things are working together for good (Romans 8:28).    The question we...

Have You Prayed About It? The Power of Seeking God Before Every Decision

Have You Prayed About It? The Power of Seeking God Before Every Decision "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not lean to your own understanding. In all of your ways, acknowledge God, and God will direct your path." – Proverbs 3:5–6    The spiritual journey through the Book of Joshua provides a powerful lesson about the importance of prayer and discernment. In Joshua chapter nine, the leaders of Israel encountered the Gibeonites, who used deception to secure their protection. Fearful of Israel's advance, they disguised themselves as weary travelers from a distant land, carrying worn-out clothing and stale bread to support their story.    The mistake made by Joshua and the leaders was not their willingness to show kindness. Their error was failing to seek God's guidance before making a covenant. Instead of consulting the Lord, they relied solely upon what they could see, hear, and touch. Their physical senses overruled their spiritual disc...

More Education for This Generation: Moving from Information to Transformation

More Education for This Generation "Always learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." – 2 Timothy 3:7 (KSB)    Education plays a vital role in transforming knowledge into meaningful change. Many individuals engage in studying, taking classes, enrolling in courses, attending workshops and seminars. However, there is a significant difference between studying and true education . Studying often involves memorizing information to pass tests or earn credentials, but it does not necessarily lead to understanding or lasting impact. True education requires learning deeply, resting, and then applying what has been learned to life in practical and meaningful ways. This cycle of learning and application facilitates real growth and transformation.     Firstly , studies provide the foundational engagement with new information. People gather facts and data through various means, but this alone does not guarantee comprehension or change...

Wisdom Is Knowing What to Do: Learning to Carry, Care, and Cast According to Galatians 6

Wisdom Is Knowing What to Do "Bear each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ... Each one should carry their own load."   Galatians 6:2, 5 (KSB)    God gives us wisdom. Wisdom is knowing what to do, and the truth is, sometimes we are not sure what that is especially when it comes to helping others or making major decisions. But the Bible gives us a promise: If anyone lacks wisdom, let them ask of God, who gives freely and without reproach. He will give you the clarity you need.  Sometimes the answer comes when we stand still and listen for that still, small voice. Other times, we need to seek wise counsel from spiritual leaders, pray in the Spirit, or journal through our thoughts until direction becomes clear. God's wisdom shows us what is ours to do and what is not.    There is a divine difference between carrying, caring, and casting. Jesus reminds us, “ Take My yoke upon you... for My yoke is easy an...
