I Can't Hold Back: Releasing Praise, Love, and Faith Without Fear

I Can't Hold Back: Releasing Praise, Love, and Faith Without Fear "Praise waits for You, O God, in Zion; to You our vows shall be fulfilled." – Psalm 65:1    Many people remain stuck in life because they continually hold something back. They suppress their emotions, hide their gifts, silence their testimony, withhold forgiveness, or refuse to fully trust God because of fear. Scripture reminds us that we can cast every care upon the Lord because He cares for us. God never intended us to carry life's burdens alone.    The writers of the Psalms demonstrate remarkable honesty before God. They openly expressed joy, sorrow, fear, frustration, gratitude, and praise. Their transparency teaches us that authentic faith does not require pretending. Instead, it invites us to bring every part of ourselves into God's presence. Firstly: Release the Negativity (Psalm 64)    Psalm 64 acknowledges that people often release anger, criticism, gos...

It’s Whatever: Discovering the Unlimited Nature of Your Relationship with God

It's Whatever: Discovering the Unlimited Nature of Your Relationship with God "I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your name I will lift up my hands." – Psalm 63:4    One of the most beautiful truths found throughout Scripture is that God invites every believer into a deeply personal relationship with Him. Psalms 61, 62, and 63 reveal David's intimate walk with God a relationship marked by trust, worship, dependence, and love.    God's name, I AM , reminds us that He is everything we need Him to be. Whether we need strength, wisdom, peace, protection, provision, or comfort, God remains our constant source. There are no limits to His love, His presence, or His willingness to draw near to those who seek Him.    As James reminds us, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." Our closeness with God is not limited by Him but by our willingness to seek Him with open hearts. 1. The Call and the Cry (Psalm 61) ...

God Is Our Refuge and Restorer: Finding Strength, Safety, and Renewal in Every Season

God Is Our Refuge and Restorer: Finding Strength, Safety, and Renewal in Every Season "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." – Psalm 91:2    Life often presents seasons of uncertainty, disappointment, and hardship. Yet throughout the Psalms, David repeatedly points us to an unchanging truth: God is both our Refuge and our Restorer . He is our safe place in times of trouble and the One who renews every area of our lives with His mercy and grace. God Is Our Refuge    In the Psalms, David frequently describes God as his refuge, fortress, and strength. When enemies surrounded him and circumstances became overwhelming, David learned that true security was not found in human strength but in God's faithful presence.    A refuge is a place of protection and safety. Likewise, God invites us to run to Him with complete confidence, knowing that His love never fails. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, and those ...

I AM Open!: Staying Spiritually Receptive to God’s Voice (1 Samuel 28:6)

I AM Open!: Staying Spiritually Receptive to God’s Voice "He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets." – 1 Samuel 28:6    Every believer longs to hear the voice of God. Yet there are seasons when heaven seems quiet and familiar avenues of guidance appear silent. In 1 Samuel 28:6, King Saul sought direction from the Lord, but he received no answer through dreams, the Urim, or the prophets. Rather than waiting patiently, Saul turned to an ungodly source for answers a decision that led him farther from God's will.    This passage reminds us that spiritual openness is not about forcing God to speak in the ways we expect. It is about remaining receptive to His leading, trusting His timing, and allowing Him to communicate according to His perfect wisdom.    Being open means maintaining a heart that is willing to receive God's guidance without resistance. It means welcoming His instruction...
