Psalm 23 gives us powerful images that reveal how perception shapes reality. What we see inwardly determines what we experience outwardly.  The intellect holds learned perceptions formed by life experiences, shaping our worldview. Scripture invites us to rise higher and affirm: I call it like I see it. We call those things that are not as though they are, based on how we see them.    Perception creates reality. When perception changes, reality follows.
