“Empty tomb at sunrise symbolizing resurrection hope in Christ.”

We Have Hope (1 Peter 1:3)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to their abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." – 1 Peter 1:3 (KSB)

Following Jesus as our way-shower fills our lives with hope. Jesus fully human, fully divine, the pattern Son, and the example of what redeemed humanity looks like reveals what is possible for us. Everything Jesus was, we can become. Everything Jesus declared about Himself; we can boldly declare about ourselves. Everything Jesus did, we are empowered to do, and even greater works. This is the hope we inherit through Christ.

   1. The Death of Jesus Gives Us Hope

Jesus willingly laid down His life, no one took it from Him. This truth frees us from living in fear. Jesus was wounded for every thought, word, and action that fell short of God’s best. Through His wounds, healing flows to us. This means restoration is possible, forgiveness is available, and transformation is ongoing. We have hope even in our sickness, weakness, and humanity because of Christ’s sacrificial love.

   2. The Burial of Jesus Gives Us Hope

Jesus’ burial reminds us that even in moments that feel dark, silent, or final, God is still working. Joseph of Arimathea cared for Jesus’ body with honor and tenderness. This shows that God can send people to care for us even in our lowest moments. The tomb was borrowed and temporary. Likewise, any attempt to bury your name, reputation, calling, or influence cannot last. What God has purposefully designed cannot remain hidden.

   3. The Resurrection of Jesus Strengthens Our Hope

Jesus rose with power, demonstrating victory over death, hell, and the grave. Resurrection teaches us that suffering is temporary and joy is certain. Because Christ lives, we can face tomorrow with confidence. Every trial becomes an opportunity for God's power to be revealed. Resurrection hope reminds us to align our thoughts, words, and actions with the life of Christ within us.

Following Jesus through the pattern of death, burial, and resurrection gives us unwavering hope. God's abundant mercy assures us that no matter our present challenges, the future is filled with resurrection life, restoration, and victory.

We Have Hope: Death. Burial. Resurrection.

📖 Reflection: Where in your life do you need to embrace the hope of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection today?

💡 Action Step: Identify one area that feels “buried” and speak resurrection life over it through prayer and Scripture.

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...
Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the...

There’s a Grace on Your Life

There’s a Grace on Your Life "By grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."    Ephesians 2:8 (KSB)    In Ephesians chapter 2, one word stands out repeatedly: grace . But what is grace? Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His love poured out on us, not based on anything we've done or failed to do. It’s not about what we think or don’t think. It’s simply a gift. A beautiful, divine surprise.  Imagine receiving an unexpected bonus at work, you did your job, and suddenly you're given more than you earned. That’s grace. It comes when you least expect it and fills you with joy and wonder. This is how God extends His grace freely, abundantly, and lovingly.  Throughout Ephesians 2, Paul highlights how grace is woven into our salvation. “By grace you are saved” means you didn’t do it yourself. Salvation is the awakening in your spirit to the truth that  you are God's beloved .   ...
