No Shortage of Love – Receiving, Increasing, and Overflowing in God’s Love
"May the Lord increase your love to the point of overflow for one another each and for everyone just as ours does for you." – 1 Thessalonians 3:12
Love embodies the perfect kingdom principle the very core of divine balance, prayer, and prosperity. There is no shortage of love because God is love. To believe that love is lacking would mean believing that God is lacking, which is impossible. Every person, every living creature, and all of creation have access to an infinite supply of God’s love. It may come from unexpected places and people, but it remains ever-abundant. The challenge lies in opening our hearts to receive it without rejecting it due to our own expectations or limitations.
1. Receive Love. Love often arrives in ways different from what we imagine. It may come from family, friends, neighbors, or even strangers outside our immediate circle. For example, there are times when we fail to recognize love because it does not look like what we expected. Rejecting love whether from a parent, a step-parent, or another source can blind us to the abundance already present. To truly experience God’s limitless love, we must release rejection and open ourselves fully to receive.
2. Increase in Love. When we receive God’s perfect, unconditional, and everlasting love, it begins to grow within us. Love cannot multiply where it has not first been welcomed. As our awareness of God’s love expands, so does our capacity to love ourselves and others. Many people feel a shortage of love because they are waiting for it to come only in one form. But when we open our hearts to the many ways God sends love, we find that it increases continuously.
3. Overflow in Love. Once love has been received and multiplied within, it naturally overflows. This overflow enables us to love generously family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and even those we once saw as adversaries. Abundant love breaks the chains of envy, jealousy, bitterness, and resentment. It embraces every person, regardless of age, race, gender, or background. To live in the overflow is to live in joy, grace, and freedom, extending God’s tangible love to all.
In conclusion, there is no shortage of love because there is no shortage of God. His love is present and abundant in every moment, flowing through people and circumstances, often in unexpected forms. As we receive, increase, and overflow in love, we align ourselves with the perfection of God’s kingdom. This path brings harmony, peace, and prosperity not only into our own lives but also into the lives of those around us.
