Is It Really a Silent Night? Rediscovering Holy Silence at Christmas

Is It Really a Silent Night?  "When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour." – Revelation 8:1    People sing of a silent night , a holy night , where all is calm. Yet during the Christmas season with its hustle, bustle, shopping, parties, and gift exchanges, how much time do people actually take for silence?   Silent night… silent morning… silent afternoon. When do we pause long enough to experience true silence? Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before the Divine.” Silence is not empty, it is sacred.    Silence offers a way to pray by listening rather than speaking. It allows space to hear God instead of filling every moment with words. “Be still and know that God is God.” In the busyness of the season, people are invited not to neglect the holy practice of silence. Not All at Once    Spiritual growth does not happen...

Beyond the Weather: Standing in Divine Order Through Life’s Storms

Beyond the Weather "The first angel sounded the trumpet, and hail and fire mixed with blood were hurled to the earth. One-third of the earth was burned up, as were one-third of the trees and all the green grass." – Revelation 8:7    Divinity operates through divine order . Nothing happens by accident. There are no coincidences everything unfolds exactly as intended within divine purpose. The steps of a good person are ordered by the Divine, and all things work together for good for those who love the Divine and live according to divine purpose.  Even thoughts, words, and actions that were not the highest and best can be transformed for good. This is why we speak peace to the winds, waves, and weather of life. We declare divine order, align the human mind with Divine Mind, and function from this spiritual truth.    Jesus encountered storms and severe weather, yet He spoke with authority: “Peace, be still.” That same authority lives within ...

Emmanuel in Christmas Symbols: Seeing God With Us in Candles, Stockings, and Lights

Emmanuel in Christmas Symbols: Seeing God With Us "A virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God with us’)." – Matthew 1:23    Emmanuel means God with us . At Christmas, this truth is revealed not only in scripture but also in the symbols surrounding us every day. Candles, stockings, and lights become sacred reminders that God is present in ordinary life, awakening us to divine reality right where we are. Emmanuel in the Candles "The spirit of humanity is the candle of the Lord." – Proverbs 20:27    Every candle reveals Emmanuel—God with us. The spirit within each person is the candle of the Lord, reminding us that divine presence lives within the human experience.     Firstly: The Wick—Divine Unlimited Potential. The wick represents divine essence within every person. It affirms: I am divine, and there is no limit to what I can accomplish. When thoughts align with trut...

It’s Already Yours: Activating Faith Through Works

It’s Already Yours (James 2:26) "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." – James 2:26 (KJV)     It’s already yours. Affirm it: It is already mine. It is already yours. It is already ours. The inheritance, the birthright, the blessing, it is already yours. There is no need to beg, borrow, steal, bargain, or barter. All the benefits of God are already yours because each person is God’s beloved offspring, created in the image and likeness of God.  It has always been yours. As a spiritual being, it already exists in the heavenly realm. The work is not to get it, earn it, or make it yours, the work is to activate it. What already exists in the spiritual realm must be brought into the earthly realm, from the invisible to the visible, from the intangible to the tangible. Wonder powers activate. That is the work. Firstly: Availability    All of God is available wisdom, knowledge, understanding, love, ...

You Will Be Rewarded for Your Work: Understanding Divine Harvests and Timing

You Will Be Rewarded for Your Work (Matthew 16:27) "For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of the Father’s angels, and then He shall reward every person according to their works." – Matthew 16:27    Scripture makes it clear that God is both just and faithful. Every person is rewarded according to their works. Human beings co-create with God the life they desire and deserve through silence, thoughts, words, actions, manifestations, evaluation, and progression. This divine process reaches a critical stage through work, action, and behavior  what a person actually does with what they believe.  Faith without corresponding action remains incomplete. While belief initiates the process, manifestation follows movement. God responds to alignment when thoughts, words, and actions harmonize with divine law. Firstly: Sometimes the Reward Comes Immediately    At times, the reward for work appears almost instantly. A person may sow a seed a...

You Need a John the Baptist: Why Spiritual Mentors Prepare, Preach, and Propel Destiny

You Need a John the Baptist (Matthew 3:1–2) "In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!’" – Matthew 3:1–2    Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom with a clear and consistent message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” To repent means to change specifically, to change one’s thinking and consciousness. The kingdom of heaven offers unlimited possibilities available to every person as a child of God, created in the image and likeness of God.  Jesus did not originate this message independently. He continued the very message that John the Baptist had already preached. John served as predecessor, forerunner, and teacher . Even before Jesus was born, John was already in position. Elizabeth, John’s mother, was six months pregnant when Mary conceived Jesus. These cousins developed simultaneously, with John ahead in birth order even in the womb.  ...

Guilt and Shame Block Your Blessings: Releasing Unworthiness in Revelation 5:4

Guilt and Shame Block Your Blessings "I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside." – Revelation 5:4    God’s will for each person is absolute good. God’s will for all as beloved offspring is absolute good. Yet many do not experience this good because internal blocks hinder prosperity, peace, and revelation.   In Revelation chapter five, there was great weeping because no one was found worthy to open the scroll. Only the Lamb Jesus, the spotless and sinless One proved worthy. This moment reveals more than a heavenly scene; it mirrors the inner struggle many experience when feelings of unworthiness block access to God’s blessings.    Although God has extended forgiveness, grace, and mercy, many do not extend these gifts to themselves. Thoughts and feelings that are not loving, affirming, or truthful about one’s identity can quietly obstruct prosperity and spiritual flow.  God loves wit...

The More You Love God, the More You Can Love People: Universal Love Revealed in Revelation 5:9

The More You Love God, the More You Can Love People "And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and with Your blood You purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.’" – Revelation 5:9    Revelation 5:9 unveils a profound truth about the nature of God’s love. Heaven’s new song declares that the redemptive work of the Lamb extends to all people  without limitation, boundary, or exclusion. The more deeply we draw near to God, the more our capacity to love others expands.  This passage reveals a universal love that transcends cultural, national, and ethnic divisions. Heaven celebrates not separation, but unity one redeemed family gathered through sacrificial love. Firstly: Every Language    God’s love reaches across every language . Revelation 5:9 affirms that people are purchased for God through the blood of the Lamb, regardless of...

The Order of Worship: How Heaven’s Pattern Transforms Earthly Praise

The Order of Worship: Heaven’s Pattern Revealed "And when He had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people." – Revelation 5:8    Revelation chapter five unveils the order of worship through a powerful heavenly scene filled with rich symbolism and viewed from a kingdom perspective. This passage reveals a worship service already in progress in heaven,  one rooted in thanksgiving, praise, and prayer. When believers worship on earth, they are not initiating something new; they are joining what is already taking place in the heavenly realm.  Understanding this truth shifts worship from striving to alignment. Rather than begging or pleading, earthly worship becomes a conscious participation in heaven’s perpetual praise. Firstly: Posture = Down    The order begins with posture....

What Are You Going to Do With the Crown? Lessons on Authority and Worship from Revelation 4:10

What Are You Going to Do with the Crown? (Revelation 4:10) "The twenty-four elders fall down before the One who sits on the throne and worship the One who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying…" – Revelation 4:10    In the book of Revelation, John receives a single unfolding revelation across twenty-two chapters while isolated on the Isle of Patmos. Removed from the noise of everyday life and centered in the presence of God, John is “in the Spirit” when heaven opens. God grants visions and speaks directly, revealing truths that can only be accessed through intentional withdrawal a sacred retreat to focus fully on the Divine.    One of the recurring symbols throughout Revelation is the crown . The crown represents authority, power, and the right to reign. Yet Revelation 4:10 shows something profound: those who are crowned also know when to bow, when to remove, and when to lay their crowns down. This passage tea...

You Didn’t Get Here by Yourself: Creation as an Act of Love

You Didn’t Get Here by Yourself "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." – Revelation 4:11    Creation is not merely an event it is an ongoing act of divine love . Everything that exists reveals God’s glory, honor, and power, inviting us to recognize our shared dependence on the One who gives all things their being. Revelation 4:11 reminds us that nothing and no one exists independently.  Whether in faith, family, vocation, or purpose, one truth remains: you did not get here by yourself . Creation itself teaches us to live with gratitude, humility, and recognition of both divine grace and human contribution. Creation: An Act of Love    God’s love is revealed through creation as glory, honor, and power . These are not abstract ideas, they are practical principles for abundant living, expressed through our thoughts, words,...

It Was Supposed to Happen: Trusting Divine Order Through Revelation 3:7

It Was Supposed to Happen: Trusting Divine Order "What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open." – Revelation 3:7    As we look at the life of Elijah, we see a series of events unfolding in precise divine order. The famine, the brook, and Zarephath were not random occurrences, they were intentional movements orchestrated by God. Each season prepared Elijah for the next manifestation of God’s presence and provision.  The famine was supposed to happen . It was part of divine order. Through the famine, Elijah was directed to the Brook Cherith, where God sustained him with water from the brook and provision delivered by ravens bread and cooked flesh, morning and evening. In this season, God revealed Himself to Elijah in ways he had never experienced before. The Brook Was Supposed to Dry Up    The brook drying up was not failure, it was transition. The raven stopping its delivery was not abandonment, it was instruc...

Debt-Free Counseling: Biblical Wisdom for Prosperity from Revelation 3:18

Debt-Free Counseling: Biblical Wisdom from Revelation 3:18 "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, so that you may be rich; and white garments, so that you may clothe yourself and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see." – Revelation 3:18    Debt-free counseling is more than eliminating financial obligations, it is about gaining wisdom, restoring dignity, and developing clear vision for a prosperous life. Revelation 3:18 offers divine counsel that mirrors effective financial guidance, providing principles that increase buying power, eliminate debt, and establish sustainable budgets for success.    Just as sound financial counseling equips individuals with tools to endure economic trials, God’s counsel provides enduring quality that withstands pressure, adversity, and testing. These principles usher believers into greater dimensions of life, abundance, and Kin...

Your Power Is in Your Being: Living from the Eternal “I AM”

Your Power Is in Your Being "I AM the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." – Revelation 1:8 (KSB)    People may become so focused on doing that they neglect the deeper truth of being . Yet true power does not arise from effort alone, it flows from alignment with the eternal presence within. One may align with divine beliefs and perceptions simply by being.  Beyond current ways of viewing circumstances lies a deeper state of awareness. In this space, long-held beliefs can be released. One can learn to breathe, to rest in stillness, and to know the Divine beyond thoughts, emotions, and words.    Being exists in the Divine, where we live, move, and have our being. One may move beyond reactions, behaviors, and emotional turbulence to simply be. Feelings may arise, yet they need not define us. One can allow them to pass and return to the truth of who one is. The Power of Being ...

Jesus Was About That Life: The Way, the Truth, and the Pattern for Abundant Living

Jesus Was About That Life "Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life."  1 John 5:12    The purpose of Jesus was not merely to die on the cross for humanity’s sins. If death alone had been His mission, He could have died as a child during Herod’s attempt to destroy the infant Messiah. Instead, Jesus lived. He demonstrated how to live.    Jesus revealed God’s love not only through His death but through His life. He lived as the wayshower , modeling what it means to be fully human and fully divine. His life became the standard measure for authentic living showing what relationship with God, self, and others looks like, regardless of circumstances.    Jesus is more than Savior, Christ, Lord of lords, and King of kings, He is the wayshower. When He declared, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” He was revealing a pattern for living. He guides us through every phase of life, emp...

How to Communicate Love for God and Others This Christmas

Communicate So You Can Have the Christmas You Desire and Deserve (2 John 1:12) "I have much to write to you, but I do not desire to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete." – 2 John 1:12 (KSB)    Many people say they love God, yet their understanding of what it truly means to love God is often incomplete. Loving God goes far beyond religious rituals, rules, or ceremonies; it is a living, growing relationship grounded in genuine love. That love begins with God’s love for us, and our response to that love shapes how we express our devotion. The following principles offer clarity and practical ways to understand and demonstrate authentic love for God.     First, loving God means keeping God’s commandments. These commandments are not meant to burden us; when guided by the Spirit, they become simple and life-giving. Jesus summarized them into three essential instructions: love ...

Everlasting Truth: Understanding the Divine Truth That Lives in Us

Everlasting Truth: The Divine Truth That Lives in Us (2 John 1:2) "Because of the truth which lives in us and will be with us forever:" – 2 John 1:2 (KSB)    In a world overflowing with falsehoods and confusion, learning to recognize and hold onto truth is essential. This passage reminds us that an everlasting truth lives within us, a truth that remains constant even when the world around us shifts. The challenge is to discern, embrace, and live from that truth despite the many deceptive voices encountered daily.     First, truth is God. Truth is not subjective or relative; it is absolute because it flows from the very nature of God. The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth, meaning that divine truth transcends circumstances and human opinion. When we acknowledge God as truth, we gain a steadfast foundation that grounds us through life’s uncertainties.     Second, truth lives in us because God dwells within us. At the cor...

What It Really Means to Love God: Walking in Obedience and Love

What It Really Means to Love God "And this is love: that we walk in obedience to God’s commands. As you have heard from the beginning, God’s command is that you walk in love." – 2 John 1:6 (KSB)    Clear communication is essential, especially during the holiday season. To experience a peaceful and meaningful Christmas, it is important not to hold thoughts or emotions inside. Instead, openness and clarity should shape our interactions with family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, classmates, and our wider community.     First, put God first. Prioritizing our connection with God helps align our thoughts, words, and actions with divine love and obedience. When our hearts are centered on God, our communication naturally becomes more sincere, compassionate, and grounded.     Second, keep God’s commands. This means reflecting on the moral and spiritual guidance God gives us. His greatest command is love, love for Him and love for one ...

When We Don’t Listen, Life Gets Louder: Hearing God, Self, and Others

When We Don’t Listen, Life Gets Louder: Hearing God, Self, and Others (1 John 4:6) "We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood." – 1 John 4:6 (KSB)    Life speaks in whispers small promptings, subtle signs, and gentle nudges that often flutter by unnoticed. These whispers may be God's guidance, our inner wisdom, or sincere counsel from others. When we ignore them, life tends to raise its volume: discomfort becomes pain, confusion becomes chaos, and scarcity becomes urgent. This is the spiritual dynamic behind the voice of truth and the voice of falsehood.    First, listening to God requires stillness and sensitivity. God often speaks in the quiet through scripture, prayer, the counsel of the Spirit, and the circumstances around us. Ignoring these divine hints allows problems to intensify until the noise forces ...
