Guilt and Shame Block Your Blessings

"I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside." – Revelation 5:4

God’s will for each person is absolute good. God’s will for all as beloved offspring is absolute good. Yet many do not experience this good because internal blocks hinder prosperity, peace, and revelation.  In Revelation chapter five, there was great weeping because no one was found worthy to open the scroll. Only the Lamb Jesus, the spotless and sinless One proved worthy. This moment reveals more than a heavenly scene; it mirrors the inner struggle many experience when feelings of unworthiness block access to God’s blessings.

Although God has extended forgiveness, grace, and mercy, many do not extend these gifts to themselves. Thoughts and feelings that are not loving, affirming, or truthful about one’s identity can quietly obstruct prosperity and spiritual flow. God loves with unconditional, perfect, everlasting, and universal love. Nothing, no thought, word, or action can separate anyone from the love of God in Christ Jesus. God so loved the world that God gave the only begotten Son so that all who believe may experience eternal life.

God desires optimal health, harmonious relationships, and overflowing abundance for everyone. God withholds no good thing. It is the Parent’s good pleasure to give the kingdom. A happy, healthy, prosperous, successful, and love-filled life is the birthright and inheritance of all as beloved offspring. To experience this prosperity, internal blocks must be released through the three T’s: Thinking (thoughts), Theology (words), and Treatment (actions).

Firstly: Release Guilt

Guilt arises from thoughts, words, or actions that were not the highest and best. The solution is not punishment, but release. Forgive yourself. Confess, forsake, admit, take responsibility, and choose to do better. God has cast these matters into the sea of forgetfulness and remembers them no more. What God has released, you must also release. Letting go of guilt opens the door to prosperity.

Secondly: Release Shame

When guilt lingers, it often transforms into shame. Guilt focuses on what one has done; shame attacks who one believes they are. Many search externally for what is “wrong,” when the true issue is unforgiveness toward self. The truth is this: you are perfect, whole, and complete—made in the image and likeness of God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Shift your focus from what appears wrong to what is divinely right, and prosperity begins to flow.

Thirdly: Release Condemnation

Condemnation carries the belief that punishment is deserved. This leads people to punish themselves or allow others to do so. Yet Scripture declares there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

God did not send the Son to condemn the world, but that the world through the Son might be saved. When the woman caught in adultery stood before Jesus, He said, “Neither do I condemn you.” Release condemnation toward yourself and others to experience freedom and increase.

Feelings of Unworthiness

   • Guilt – what I’ve done
   • Shame – who I am
   • Condemnation – punishment

Release guilt about what has been done, shame about who you are not, and condemnation entirely. In doing so, you open yourself to the prosperity, peace, and revelation God has always intended.

Feelings of Unworthiness (Revelation 5:4)

   1. Guilt (what I’ve done)
   2. Shame (who I AM)
   3. Condemnation (punishment)

📖 Reflection: Which form of unworthiness—guilt, shame, or condemnation—have you been carrying that God has already released?

💡 Action Step: Speak aloud today: “I release guilt, shame, and condemnation. I accept God’s grace and receive the good prepared for me.”

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...

Hidden Treasure: You Are a Vessel, Not Just an Instrument

I AM Not an Instrument. I AM a Vessel “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (KSB) Hidden in Plain Sight The image that Paul presents in 2 Corinthians 4 is that of a treasure hidden within an earthen vessel. In the Old Testament, people didn’t have locks, alarm systems, or cameras to protect their valuables. Instead, their belongings were often left exposed, making them vulnerable to thieves and robbers. To safeguard their most valuable treasures, they would hide them in jars of clay—earthen vessels—placing them in plain sight. A thief or robber would never think to look there because it wasn’t an obvious hiding place. Likewise, God has placed something valuable inside of you—a treasure of great worth. Yet, people often fail to see it. You may be right in front of them, but they don’t recognize your gifts, skills, talents, anointing, abilities, or sensitivities. You are hidden in plain sight bec...
