A Prophetic Christmas: Speaking God’s Word to the Nations

Person declaring God’s word in prophetic prayer

A Prophetic Christmas

"Then I was told, ‘You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.’" – Revelation 10:11

The Christmas season reveals prophecy in motion. Jesus arrived through prophecy, a virgin conceived and bore a son called Emmanuel, meaning God with us. He is also named Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, with the government resting upon His shoulder. Scripture declares that when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth the Son, born of a woman, born under the law. Christmas, therefore, is not only a celebration, it is a prophetic fulfillment. Revelation 10:11 reminds us that prophecy does not end; it must be spoken again to peoples, nations, tribes, cities, states, and countries.

Sometimes the Word of God must be repeated, spoken again until it is received, believed, and clearly understood. A prophetic Christmas awakens the voice to declare God’s truth in every generation.  Prophecy operates through three dimensions for practical life application: foretelling, forth-telling, and forthcoming. These align thinking, theology, and treatment with divine purpose.

Firstly: Foretelling (Future)

Prophecy as foretelling reveals things to come. As people become still and know God, the Holy Spirit brings remembrance and shows future matters. God speaks through dreams, visions, Scripture, people, words of wisdom, words of knowledge, prophecy, tongues, and interpretation.

While many seek future insight through various means, true foretelling comes from God alone. Just as Isaiah saw the Messiah centuries before His birth, foretelling aligns thoughts (Thinking) with divine direction for abundant life.

Secondly: Forth-Telling (Present)

Prophecy as forth-telling declares God’s heart and mind in the present moment. It speaks what God desires now. This is the proclamation of the Word of the Lord and the singing of the song of the Lord in everyday life.

Forth-telling shapes words (Theology) to guide choices, relationships, and actions with harmony, wisdom, and purpose.

Thirdly: Forthcoming (Past)

Prophecy as forthcoming addresses the past. It surfaces what has been hidden not for judgment, guilt, shame, or condemnation, but for healing and wholeness. This dimension invites honesty, transparency, and authenticity. People become forthcoming with truth, confessing and releasing thoughts, words, and actions that were not the highest and best. Lessons are learned, blessings are received, and healing begins.

What was done in darkness comes to light not to harm, but to restore. This transformation leads to optimal health, harmonious relationships, and overflowing wealth through aligned action (Treatment). A prophetic Christmas invites all three dimensions thinking through foretelling, theology through forth-telling, and treatment through forthcoming to unlock the essentials for abundant and eternal life. The call still stands: Prophesy again.

đŸ“– Reflection: Which dimension of prophecy—future, present, or past—is God inviting you to engage this season?

đŸ’¡ Action Step: Speak one prophetic word today that aligns your thoughts, words, and actions with God’s purpose for your life.

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Hidden Treasure: You Are a Vessel, Not Just an Instrument

I AM Not an Instrument. I AM a Vessel “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (KSB) Hidden in Plain Sight The image that Paul presents in 2 Corinthians 4 is that of a treasure hidden within an earthen vessel. In the Old Testament, people didn’t have locks, alarm systems, or cameras to protect their valuables. Instead, their belongings were often left exposed, making them vulnerable to thieves and robbers. To safeguard their most valuable treasures, they would hide them in jars of clay—earthen vessels—placing them in plain sight. A thief or robber would never think to look there because it wasn’t an obvious hiding place. Likewise, God has placed something valuable inside of you—a treasure of great worth. Yet, people often fail to see it. You may be right in front of them, but they don’t recognize your gifts, skills, talents, anointing, abilities, or sensitivities. You are hidden in plain sight bec...

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...
