Voyeurs: Embracing Your Divine Purpose Under Watchful Eyes (Luke 14:1-6)

Voyeurs: Some People Like to Watch (Luke 14:1-6)

Some people are voyeurs; they just like to watch. You can't stop people from watching you or control people from watching you, but you can determine what they say. Jesus was in the synagogue, and the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the chief elders, they were watching him. They were trying to get him; they were trying to catch him on something so that they could crucify him and destroy him. They wanted to see if he would heal the swollen man on the Sabbath. Since they were watching, Jesus gave them something to see.

Don't allow people watching you to stop you from being who you are. Since they are watching, give them something to see. Let them watch you be who God created you to be. Don’t allow people watching you to stop you from being who you are. Since they are watching, give them something to see. Let them watch you be God’s unrepeatable expression of the divine. Let them watch you be a spiritual being.

Let them watch you be who God created you to be. Since they are watching, why don’t you show them the glory of God manifested in you, through you, and as you? Let them watch you do what God has called you to do, even the things that people said you would never do. Don’t be intimidated because they are watching. Let your light so shine before people that they can see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Don’t hide your light under a lampstand; don’t hide your light under a bushel. Put it up on the lampstand so people can see it. Let them see you do what seems to be impossible. Since they are watching, you can’t control, and you can’t stop people from watching. Some people are not going to help you; they are not going to support you.

They are just going to watch. Some people are voyeurs; they just like to watch. So, since they are looking at you, let them watch you say what God commanded. Since they are all up in your mouth, looking at your dentures, dental work, and bridges, let them see praise coming out of your mouth. I will always bless the Lord, and God’s praises shall continually be in my mouth.

Since they are watching your lips to see what you will say, let them hear you speak positively, uplifting, and affirmatively. Let them hear you say, “Since they are watching, let them see God flowing through your mouth.” Let them see you as the oracle of God, speaking those things that are not as though they were since they are watching. Let them watch you go where God has commissioned you to go. Since they are watching, stalking your Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat, since they are trolling your pages, seeing who you are friends with, where you are at, and what you are doing, let them see you go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Let them see you go into the hedges and the highways and compel people to come. Let them see you feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and shelter the homeless. Let them see you provide beverages, visit nursing homes, prisons, and hospitals, and allow miracles, signs, and wonders to manifest. Let them see you travel to different cities, states, countries, and continents. Since they are watching, let them watch you experience what you and God have covenanted for you to have.

Since they are voyeurs and they are watching, let them see you have it all. Let them watch you experience optimal health, harmonious relationships, and overflowing wealth. Let them see your testimony that nothing is too complicated for God. Let them see that God can do exceeding, abundantly above all that you can ask or think, according to the power that works in you. Since they are watching, give them a show not of you, but of the Christ that lives in you. Jesus said, “When you see me, you see the Father.” Since they are watching, let them see God being reflected through you
