eLife: A Kingdom Perspective on Living and Eternal Life

eLife: A Kingdom Perspective on Living

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life." – John 3:16

In today’s modern world, many essential concepts begin with the letter “e,” such as email, eCommerce, and eBooks. In this teaching, however, the term eLife represents something far deeper. It describes a multifaceted understanding of life based on Kingdom principles. Life is not merely a biological timeline that begins at birth and ends at death. Instead, it is a divine, multi-dimensional reality that flows from God, who is the very source of life itself.

From a Kingdom perspective, life unfolds through a spiritual progression. This progression reveals that humanity was designed to experience life on multiple levels spirit, soul, and body. These dimensions work together to express the fullness of God’s intention for humanity.

The Five Pillars of Life Evolution

Firstly: Everlasting Life (The Nature of Spirit)

The foundation of eLife begins with the understanding that God is everlasting. Everlasting means having no beginning and no ending. Because humanity is created in the image and likeness of God, our core identity is spiritual. Our spirit, therefore, shares in this everlasting nature. It existed before we took on a physical body and continues beyond the limitations of the physical realm.

Secondly: Evolving Life (The Physical Journey)

While the spirit is everlasting, the body becomes the vessel through which life evolves. This stage represents the transition from simply existing to truly living. It occurs when a person awakens to their spiritual identity as a beloved offspring of God. In this awakening, the individual shifts from a limited human perspective into a divine, supernatural awareness.

Thirdly: The Progression to Abundant Life

As life continues to evolve within the physical form, it progresses into what Scripture calls abundant life. At this stage, the believer recognizes that God desires wholeness in every area of life health, joy, peace, and prosperity. This is a mindset where lack and limitation lose their power because the individual becomes aligned with their divine source.

Fourthly: Life More Abundantly (The Overflow)

The next stage of evolution is described as life more abundantly. This level is characterized by overflow. At this point, an individual is no longer focused solely on meeting personal needs. Instead, they become a source of blessing for others, giving from both spiritual and material abundance. Their life becomes a living testimony that encourages others to discover their own divine potential.

Fifthly: Eternal Life (The Journey of the Soul)

Finally, this teaching highlights the difference between the spirit and the soul. The soul includes the mind, emotions, and will. While the spirit is everlasting having no beginning or end the soul is eternal. This means it has a beginning point when it is formed within the body, yet it continues forever. Eternal life is the ongoing journey of the soul learning to align perfectly with the divine nature of the spirit.

Conclusion

From a Kingdom perspective, there is no true death only higher and greater expressions of life. Humanity exists as a threefold being: spirit, soul, and body. Each dimension participates in eLife differently. The spirit is everlasting, the soul is eternal, and the body serves as the ground where life evolves and is expressed.

By embracing the example of Jesus, who removed the sting of death, we move beyond a temporary earthly outlook and step into a consciousness of life that is continuous, abundant, and divine.

Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the...
The Sacred Sunday Posture:  Kneeling “ A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees; if you are willing, you can make me clean (Mark 1:40).” In addition to bowing your heads and closing your eyes, many people learn to “get on your knees and pray.” Often, it’s at night before going to sleep. Parents instruct their children to kneel on the side of the bed and say their prayers. Perhaps you have fond memories of kneeling and reciting the Lord’s Prayer or the 23 rd Psalm. Or maybe you were taught, like me, “Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake. I pray the Lord, my soul, to take. God bless mommy, daddy...” Kneeling is a physical way to revere God as your Creator and remember that God is your Source. “Know that it is the Lord, who is God. It is he that has made us and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3).” Without reverencing and ...

Where Is the Love? Learning to Recognize God's Presence Through Galatians 5

Where Is the Love?    One of my favorite duets is by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack: "Where Is the Love?" It asks, "Where is the love that you said you would give to me?" It's a timeless question and one that’s just as spiritually relevant today.    In Galatians 5 , Paul writes to the churches in Galatia about the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. He helps believers understand how to discern what’s truly of God. And here's the spiritual compass: love is God's signature . "And envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."   Galatians 5:21 (KSB)    Whatever you do whether it’s cooking a meal or making a major decision ask yourself: "Where is the love?" Is love your motive? Is love present in your tone, your actions, your intentions?  Paul’s letter urges us to determine whether we are operati...
