Forgiving God, Yourself, and Others: Finding Healing, Peace, and Spiritual Freedom

Sunrise through clouds representing divine forgiveness and renewal.

Forgiving God, Yourself, and Others: The Path to True Freedom

When you forgive God and forgive yourself, forgiving others becomes easier.

"For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Parent will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Parent forgive your trespasses." – Matthew 6:14

When we forgive the Source of all life and extend that same grace to ourselves, forgiveness toward others flows more naturally. Forgiveness is the sacred act of releasing and letting go of thoughts, words, and actions that fall short of love’s highest standard. Many people quietly harbor anger toward the Divine due to feelings of abandonment or unanswered prayers. Yet holding onto this pain can block authentic worship and a true connection with God, who calls us to worship in spirit and in truth.

Firstly, forgive the Source for the pain of any abuse mental, emotional, physical, or sexual. Release those burdens, for carrying resentment only limits growth and peace.

Secondly, forgive the Source for natural events hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. Releasing anger about these occurrences opens the heart to healing and deeper understanding.

Thirdly, forgive the Source for the loss of loved ones through death. While grief and anger may arise, choosing forgiveness restores peace and renews trust in divine timing.

Additionally, forgive the Source for prayers that seem unanswered and prophecies yet unfulfilled. Letting go of these grievances paves the way for renewed faith, serenity, and inner strength.

As we release these burdens, we align with compassion, understanding, and the higher purpose that leads to an abundant and eternal life. Forgiveness is not weakness, it is spiritual freedom in motion.

📖 Reflection: Are there areas in your life where you’ve silently held anger toward God or yourself that need forgiveness today?

💡 Action Step: Take a few moments in quiet prayer to name what you’re ready to release. Speak forgiveness aloud and invite divine peace to fill your heart.

Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the...

There’s a Grace on Your Life

There’s a Grace on Your Life "By grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."    Ephesians 2:8 (KSB)    In Ephesians chapter 2, one word stands out repeatedly: grace . But what is grace? Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His love poured out on us, not based on anything we've done or failed to do. It’s not about what we think or don’t think. It’s simply a gift. A beautiful, divine surprise.  Imagine receiving an unexpected bonus at work, you did your job, and suddenly you're given more than you earned. That’s grace. It comes when you least expect it and fills you with joy and wonder. This is how God extends His grace freely, abundantly, and lovingly.  Throughout Ephesians 2, Paul highlights how grace is woven into our salvation. “By grace you are saved” means you didn’t do it yourself. Salvation is the awakening in your spirit to the truth that  you are God's beloved .   ...

You Are in God’s Will: How to Receive Your Divine Inheritance

You Are in God’s Will: How to Receive Your Divine Inheritance "In whom also we have obtained an inheritance because we were predestined according to the purpose of God, who works all things after the counsel of Divine Will."  Ephesians 1:11    Affirmation: My health is optimal because it’s God’s will that all of my relationships are harmonious.                                                    Ephesians 1:11 reminds us that we have obtained an inheritance through Christ. If earthly parents and grandparents can leave behind an inheritance of tangible and intangible value land, homes, recipes, wisdom, or even prayer, how much greater is the inheritance from our heavenly Father?  An inheritance implies that someone thought of you before their passing, made intentional plans, and had a desire for your future. Similarly,...
