God in Skin: Understanding Your Divine Identity

Divine light shining through human form representing God in skin

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us." – John 1:1-2, 14 (NKJV)

The message of "God in Skin" invites us into a deeper awareness of who we truly are. It reveals that our existence is not accidental or merely physical, but rooted in divine intention. According to this teaching, every individual is the Word made flesh a living expression of God’s mind, purpose, and presence on earth.

Your life is a divine idea that has taken on human form to fulfill a spiritual assignment. When you begin to see yourself this way, everything changes your thoughts, your words, your actions, and your expectations.

The Five Dimensions of God in Skin

   1. The Spoken Word
You are the spoken Word of God. Your origin is not merely biological, you began as a divine idea released from the mind of God. Because you are spoken, you carry creative power. Just as Jesus spoke to the winds and waves, you have the authority to speak life, healing, peace, and abundance into your reality. Your words are not empty; they are creative forces shaping your world.

   2. The Written Word
You are also the written Word, a living epistle read by all. Your life continues the unfolding story of God’s expression on earth. Every thought, decision, and action becomes spiritual ink writing your testimony. The Word did not end with scripture; it continues through you as you live out divine truth daily.

   3. The Living Word
To be the living Word is to move beyond hearing into doing. It is embodying truth instead of merely quoting it. You become visible proof that the promises of God are real. As the living Word, you are called to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth, bringing transformation and meaning to life around you.

   4. The Manifested Word
As the manifested Word, you embody the "I AM" reality. You are the bread of life, offering nourishment. You are living water, refreshing those who thirst. You are the vine, carrying everything needed to thrive. Through your presence, others experience the Divine. You become the answer to the world’s longing for God made visible.

   5. The Balanced Word
Being "God in Skin" requires balance. You are both human and divine. Your physical existence should not limit your spiritual identity, and your spirituality should not disconnect you from real life. True mastery is found in harmonizing the natural and supernatural living grounded yet spiritually aware, practical yet powerful.

Conclusion

The revelation of "God in Skin" is a call to awaken to your true nature. You are the spoken, written, and living Word of God expressed in human form. As you embrace this identity, you step into a life of purpose, power, and responsibility.

This is your invitation to live consciously as a vessel of divine expression to speak with authority, live with intention, and manifest the presence of God in your everyday life. You are not just existing; you are revealing God to the world.

📖 Reflection: In what ways can you begin to see yourself as the living expression of God in your daily life?

💡 Action Step: Speak one positive, faith-filled declaration over your life each day this week and act in alignment with it.

Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the...
The Sacred Sunday Posture:  Kneeling “ A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees; if you are willing, you can make me clean (Mark 1:40).” In addition to bowing your heads and closing your eyes, many people learn to “get on your knees and pray.” Often, it’s at night before going to sleep. Parents instruct their children to kneel on the side of the bed and say their prayers. Perhaps you have fond memories of kneeling and reciting the Lord’s Prayer or the 23 rd Psalm. Or maybe you were taught, like me, “Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake. I pray the Lord, my soul, to take. God bless mommy, daddy...” Kneeling is a physical way to revere God as your Creator and remember that God is your Source. “Know that it is the Lord, who is God. It is he that has made us and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3).” Without reverencing and ...

Where Is the Love? Learning to Recognize God's Presence Through Galatians 5

Where Is the Love?    One of my favorite duets is by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack: "Where Is the Love?" It asks, "Where is the love that you said you would give to me?" It's a timeless question and one that’s just as spiritually relevant today.    In Galatians 5 , Paul writes to the churches in Galatia about the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. He helps believers understand how to discern what’s truly of God. And here's the spiritual compass: love is God's signature . "And envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."   Galatians 5:21 (KSB)    Whatever you do whether it’s cooking a meal or making a major decision ask yourself: "Where is the love?" Is love your motive? Is love present in your tone, your actions, your intentions?  Paul’s letter urges us to determine whether we are operati...
