Who Are You Becoming? Growing Up Into Christ Through Divine Essence, Good Energy, and Great Expectations

"Speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Christ in all things, who is the head." – Ephesians 4:15

As we continue stepping into the next dimension of spiritual awareness, consider this powerful question: Who do you desire to be when you grow up? This is no longer a childhood question about careers, houses, cars, marriage, or status. It is a question of character, essence, and way of being.

When your name is mentioned in a room, what do people experience? What presence do you carry? The answer often depends on the system from which you operate: the world system that excludes God, the church system that includes God peripherally, or the Kingdom system where God remains at the center of everything.

According to Ephesians 4:15, we are called to grow up into Christ in all things. This is not about religious performance. It is about transformation of being.

1. In Essence: Desire to Be Divine

"Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High." – Psalm 82:6

At your core, your true essence is divine. Scripture declares that we are made in the image and likeness of God and are partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). This means your identity is not rooted in your circumstances, struggles, health challenges, financial situations, or relationship status.

You are a spiritual being in a spiritual universe, governed by the law of love and Kingdom principles. The Word was God and became flesh (John 1:1, 14). That same divine expression lives through you.

Beyond every issue stands this eternal truth: God manifested in the flesh. That is your essence.

2. In Energy: Desire to Be Good

If your essence is God, then your energy must radiate goodness. Good energy expresses love, joy, peace, comfort, and calm assurance. People may not remember your title apostle, prophet, pastor, bishop, elder, or deacon but they will always remember how your presence made them feel.

Energy reveals spirit, intention, and motive. When negative energy enters the room, insecurity may cause withdrawal. But when you are rooted in divine essence, you carry the authority to transform atmospheres.

Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Trust the discernment of your spirit in business decisions, relationships, and opportunities. Remember, it is not people who create conflict it is mindsets.

3. In Expectations: Desire Greatness

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think..." – Ephesians 3:20

When your essence is divine and your energy is good, your expectations naturally become great. Expect miracles. Expect favor. Expect meaningful connections. Expect each day to surpass the one before.

Low expectations create room for disappointment. High expectations align you with Kingdom reality. God does not operate in limitation, and neither should you.

To grow up into Christ is to live from this threefold awareness: Essence as God. Energy as Good. Expectations as Great. This is the pathway into abundant and eternal life. This is stepping fully into the next dimension.

So again, the question remains: Who are you becoming?

📖 Reflection: When others experience your presence, do they encounter divine love, goodness, and great expectation?

💡 Action Step: This week, consciously choose one area of life to raise your expectations and align your energy with your divine identity.

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...

Hidden Treasure: You Are a Vessel, Not Just an Instrument

I AM Not an Instrument. I AM a Vessel “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (KSB) Hidden in Plain Sight The image that Paul presents in 2 Corinthians 4 is that of a treasure hidden within an earthen vessel. In the Old Testament, people didn’t have locks, alarm systems, or cameras to protect their valuables. Instead, their belongings were often left exposed, making them vulnerable to thieves and robbers. To safeguard their most valuable treasures, they would hide them in jars of clay—earthen vessels—placing them in plain sight. A thief or robber would never think to look there because it wasn’t an obvious hiding place. Likewise, God has placed something valuable inside of you—a treasure of great worth. Yet, people often fail to see it. You may be right in front of them, but they don’t recognize your gifts, skills, talents, anointing, abilities, or sensitivities. You are hidden in plain sight bec...
