I Have the Mind of Christ: Living in Higher Consciousness Through Philippians 2:5

I Have the Mind of Christ: Living in Higher Consciousness Through Philippians 2:5

Open Bible displaying Philippians 2:5 with heavenly light symbolizing the mind of Christ

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." – Philippians 2:5

The key affirmation for this teaching is: I am letting the mind of Christ be in me. The Apostle Paul further declares:

"But we have the mind of Christ." – 1 Corinthians 2:16

This mindset is not something we struggle to obtain. It is already available through the Holy Spirit and spiritual alignment. The invitation is not to manufacture divine thought, but to allow it.

First: The Old Testament Reality

Under the Old Covenant, it was not possible to operate with the mind of Christ because a clear separation existed between God’s thoughts and human thoughts.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways… As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." – Isaiah 55:8–9

Divine consciousness and human consciousness remained distinct. Humanity perceived God as distant, elevated, and separate.

Second: The New Testament Revelation

In the New Covenant, Jesus bridges the gap. He unites heaven and earth, divinity and humanity. In Christ, God’s thoughts and ways are demonstrated in human form.

Paul instructs us to let this mind be in us, and he boldly affirms that we already have access to it. Through Jesus, believers step into a higher consciousness that empowers them to continue Christ’s ministry healing, teaching, and demonstrating divine power.

The manifestations of Christ require the mind of Christ. When we think as Christ thinks, we live as Christ lives.

Third: The Now Testament Experience

The “Now Testament” is active right here and right now. Believers are living epistles, expressing the mind of Christ in the present moment.

Each person chooses their level of consciousness:

Subconscious – Past-focused and conditioned by memory.

   Conscious – Sense-based and circumstance-driven.

Superconscious – The Christ mind, aligned with divine truth.

Through awareness and intentional choice, believers release lower levels of thinking and allow the mind of Christ to guide their Thinking, Theology, and Treatment. Thoughts align. Words align. Actions align.

Conclusion: The Invitation

The invitation still stands: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Move beyond the old separation. Embrace the new possibility revealed through Jesus. Live as the Now Testament.

As you align your thoughts, words, and actions with the mind of Christ, you step into abundant and eternal life living in harmony with divine purpose here and now.

📖 Reflection: What level of consciousness am I choosing today, and how can I intentionally allow the mind of Christ to guide my thinking?

💡 Action Step: Begin each morning this week by affirming, “I am letting the mind of Christ be in me,” and consciously align your thoughts with divine truth throughout the day.

There’s a Grace on Your Life

There’s a Grace on Your Life "By grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."    Ephesians 2:8 (KSB)    In Ephesians chapter 2, one word stands out repeatedly: grace . But what is grace? Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His love poured out on us, not based on anything we've done or failed to do. It’s not about what we think or don’t think. It’s simply a gift. A beautiful, divine surprise.  Imagine receiving an unexpected bonus at work, you did your job, and suddenly you're given more than you earned. That’s grace. It comes when you least expect it and fills you with joy and wonder. This is how God extends His grace freely, abundantly, and lovingly.  Throughout Ephesians 2, Paul highlights how grace is woven into our salvation. “By grace you are saved” means you didn’t do it yourself. Salvation is the awakening in your spirit to the truth that  you are God's beloved .   ...

What the Cross Means: Crucifying the World, Embracing God, and Crossing Out the Past

What the Cross Means: Crucifying the World, Embracing God, and Crossing Out the Past "May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." Galatians 6:14 (KSB)    The cross is the central image of the Christian faith. It crowns the rooftops of churches, adorns sanctuaries, and rests around the necks of believers worldwide. Whether it’s the empty cross or the crucifix, the symbol remains a powerful reminder of Jesus' sacrifice and the foundation of our faith. Songs like "At Calvary," "Near the Cross," and "The Old Rugged Cross" continue to declare its significance.  Having stood at Calvary’s foot in Israel at the very place where Jesus was crucified. I can testify to the power of that sacred ground. But beyond the physical symbol, Jesus invites us to carry our own cross. He said, “If anyone would follow Me, let him take up his cross and follow Me.” Each ...
