I AM Working on It: Stages of Kingdom Life

I AM Working on
"Small plant growing from soil, symbolizing spiritual growth in Christ."

It: Stages of Kingdom Life (Ephesians 5:5)

"You can be sure of this: no immoral, impure or greedy person who commits idolatry can have an inheritance in the Kingdom of God."  Ephesians 5:5 (KSB)

There are steps to this; there are stages to this. Just as we experience stages of development in the natural from zygote, embryo, and fetus to newborn, child, and eventually adulthood we also go through spiritual stages. Life unfolds in steps and stages both naturally and supernaturally. When we first encounter God’s Word and it pierces our hearts, something is conceived in the spirit. Just as a baby must grow in the womb before birth, we grow within the womb of the church, learning who God is, who Jesus is, who the Holy Spirit is, and who we are in Him. We also begin practicing spiritual disciplines. Eventually, the water breaks, and we are birthed into the Kingdom of God.

When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are not yet fully born again, we are conceived. Conception is the beginning of a process that requires growth, nourishment, and time until we are birthed into the Kingdom life. Jesus said, except you are born again, you cannot see the kingdom of God. First, we see the Kingdom we realize there is more than just church life, more than worldly life, and that God’s Kingdom is real and active. We begin to perceive God’s power and dominion operating on the earth. Next, we move from seeing to entering the Kingdom. To enter means to learn and apply Kingdom principles love, balance, divine order, prayer, and communication with God. We embrace Kingdom promises such as health, peace, provision, and wholeness. As we practice these principles, our lives are transformed by the renewing of our minds.

Finally, we reach the stage of inheriting the Kingdom. This is when the Kingdom begins to work for us. Instead of only working Kingdom principles, we experience the fruit of them: optimal health, harmonious relationships, and overflowing provision. We learn how to activate change through thanksgiving, forgiving, and life-giving. These practices heal, restore, and release God’s blessings in our lives. Not everyone in the church or in the Kingdom is at the same stage of development, but each step is necessary. There are three systems in operation on earth the world, the church, and the Kingdom and within each, God is working through stages of development.

Paul reminds us in Ephesians 5:5 that we inherit the Kingdom through holy living and spiritual maturity. As we continue growing, we move closer to fully experiencing the life God intends.

Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the...

There’s a Grace on Your Life

There’s a Grace on Your Life "By grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."    Ephesians 2:8 (KSB)    In Ephesians chapter 2, one word stands out repeatedly: grace . But what is grace? Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His love poured out on us, not based on anything we've done or failed to do. It’s not about what we think or don’t think. It’s simply a gift. A beautiful, divine surprise.  Imagine receiving an unexpected bonus at work, you did your job, and suddenly you're given more than you earned. That’s grace. It comes when you least expect it and fills you with joy and wonder. This is how God extends His grace freely, abundantly, and lovingly.  Throughout Ephesians 2, Paul highlights how grace is woven into our salvation. “By grace you are saved” means you didn’t do it yourself. Salvation is the awakening in your spirit to the truth that  you are God's beloved .   ...

You Are in God’s Will: How to Receive Your Divine Inheritance

You Are in God’s Will: How to Receive Your Divine Inheritance "In whom also we have obtained an inheritance because we were predestined according to the purpose of God, who works all things after the counsel of Divine Will."  Ephesians 1:11    Affirmation: My health is optimal because it’s God’s will that all of my relationships are harmonious.                                                    Ephesians 1:11 reminds us that we have obtained an inheritance through Christ. If earthly parents and grandparents can leave behind an inheritance of tangible and intangible value land, homes, recipes, wisdom, or even prayer, how much greater is the inheritance from our heavenly Father?  An inheritance implies that someone thought of you before their passing, made intentional plans, and had a desire for your future. Similarly,...
