The Aerial View: Rising Above with Christ’s Perspective

The Aerial View: Rising Above with Christ’s Perspective (Ephesians 2:6–8)

"By grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."  Ephesians 2:8 (KSB)

Sometimes people are squinting and straining to see God in their situation. They are trying to find the good but are looking from an eye-level view. Yet when you rise in your consciousness into the Christ mind, the Christ consciousness, the heavenly realm you begin to see things differently. Perspective changes when consciousness ascends.

Embracing divine perspective in nature

In Ephesians 2:6, Paul tells us that when Christ rose from the dead, we rose with Him. When He ascended into the heavenly realms, we ascended with Him. We did not merely observe His resurrection; we participated in it. We died to our old selves: old habits, old thinking, old speech. And when He rose, we rose to a new life, a new way of being. We are not bound by what we see on earth. Because Christ has ascended, and we are in Him, we are welcomed into the heavenly realm. We can transcend earthly circumstances and return to them with a higher, holier, heavenly view. We have complete access to all that God is and all that God has because we are God’s beloved children.

It’s like flying on a plane at 30,000 feet, the things on the ground look small. The problem didn’t shrink, but your view changed. The higher your consciousness rises in Christ, the smaller the challenges seem. From the aerial view, people's age, race, gender, education, or socioeconomic status no longer seem so big. You begin to see unity. You begin to see love. You begin to see as Christ sees. Criminal records, credit history, family dynamics, emotional or physical challenges, they're not that big from the aerial view. You start living unbothered by the things that once wore you down. Disappointment, heartache, and stress lose their grip because you are viewing them from God’s elevated perspective.

You start seeing God’s goodness in all things. Why? Because you know the truth of Romans 8:28: all things are working together for your good. Even what others meant for evil; God is turning for your benefit. You know greater is He who is in you than anything outside of you. That’s why you are not burdened. You are not bothered. You are not broken. You are buoyant, lifted by the aerial view of faith. When you come from love, when you come from God’s view, you’re no longer weighed down. Joy remains. Peace sustains. Love flows freely. And you begin to see that God has a bigger purpose, a higher plan, and a greater good than you could have imagined.

The Grace Combo (Ephesians 2:8)

Grace is not a solo act. It partners powerfully with:

  • Grace & Salvation: We are saved by grace not earned, not deserved.
  • Grace & Faith: Faith is our response to God’s gift of grace. It opens the door.
  • Grace & Works: Works don’t save us, but they are the fruit of a life transformed by grace.

📖 Reflection: What earthly circumstance do you need to view from a higher, Christ-centered perspective?

💡 Action Step: Spend time in prayer asking God to elevate your consciousness and reveal His perspective over your situation.

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Hidden Treasure: You Are a Vessel, Not Just an Instrument

I AM Not an Instrument. I AM a Vessel “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (KSB) Hidden in Plain Sight The image that Paul presents in 2 Corinthians 4 is that of a treasure hidden within an earthen vessel. In the Old Testament, people didn’t have locks, alarm systems, or cameras to protect their valuables. Instead, their belongings were often left exposed, making them vulnerable to thieves and robbers. To safeguard their most valuable treasures, they would hide them in jars of clay—earthen vessels—placing them in plain sight. A thief or robber would never think to look there because it wasn’t an obvious hiding place. Likewise, God has placed something valuable inside of you—a treasure of great worth. Yet, people often fail to see it. You may be right in front of them, but they don’t recognize your gifts, skills, talents, anointing, abilities, or sensitivities. You are hidden in plain sight bec...
