It Is All Light: Discovering Divine Good in Every Season of Life

It Is All Light

"I must work the
Spiritual light revealing divine good in every season

works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."
– John 9:4 (KJV)

Genesis 1:3–10 reveals a profound spiritual truth: it is all light. In the beginning, the very first creative command spoken was, “Let there be light,” and light immediately appeared. This marked the first day of creation. Before form, before function, before structure there was light. Through the unfolding stages of creation silence, thoughts, words, actions, manifestations, evaluations, and progressions humanity co-creates with the Divine the life it desires and deserves. Every creative process begins with light. Light represents awareness, consciousness, and understanding. It is spiritual insight, the inner illumination that reveals truth and possibility.

As creation progresses, the focus shifts from thought to action. God worked with the light, separating the good contained within it. Light held unlimited potential, divine ideas waiting to be revealed. The work of separation brings forth that good.

Firstly: Day and Night from Light

From one source of light, God established day and night. The presence of light was called day, and the absence of light was called night. Yet both emerged from the same source. Evening and morning marked the first, second, and third days, all originating from light.

This teaches a powerful spiritual principle: within everything you possess, there is more good waiting to be discovered, unfolded, and manifested. Even what appears dark still originates in light.

Secondly: Sun and Moon from Light

From the same creation of light, God formed two great lights the greater light to rule the day, the sun, and the lesser light to rule the night, the moon. Both rulers came from one source.

This reveals that everything arises from one divine power and presence. There is only God, expressed in various degrees, forms, and manifestations. Light produces realms first day and night then assigns leadership over them. This same pattern appears throughout creation. Humanity itself receives dominion after all realms are formed.

Thirdly: Times and Seasons from Light

From the one source of light came times and seasons. Light expresses itself through change yet it never ceases to be light. Whether through greater or lesser illumination, presence or seeming absence, everything remains rooted in divine light.

Every person, situation, and experience contains good. The spiritual work is to separate and reveal it through right thinking, faithful words, and aligned action. Light already exists everywhere our role is to draw it forth.

   Conclusion

Family, career, community, and neighborhood are all power-packed with divine good from one source. Whether expressed as day or night, sun or moon, summer or winter, it is all light appearing in different degrees.

Jesus declared, “I am the light of the world,” and then taught that humanity is also the light of the world. When light shines, good works are revealed and the Divine is glorified. No matter how dark something appears, it still originates in light.

Begin with light. See good first. Work while it is day. Create your life from divine illumination, knowing that it is all light, all good, all God.

📖 Reflection: Where in your life might light already be present, waiting for you to recognize and separate the good within it?

💡 Action Step: Today, consciously affirm light in every situation you encounter and take one intentional action that expresses that awareness.

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...

Hidden Treasure: You Are a Vessel, Not Just an Instrument

I AM Not an Instrument. I AM a Vessel “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (KSB) Hidden in Plain Sight The image that Paul presents in 2 Corinthians 4 is that of a treasure hidden within an earthen vessel. In the Old Testament, people didn’t have locks, alarm systems, or cameras to protect their valuables. Instead, their belongings were often left exposed, making them vulnerable to thieves and robbers. To safeguard their most valuable treasures, they would hide them in jars of clay—earthen vessels—placing them in plain sight. A thief or robber would never think to look there because it wasn’t an obvious hiding place. Likewise, God has placed something valuable inside of you—a treasure of great worth. Yet, people often fail to see it. You may be right in front of them, but they don’t recognize your gifts, skills, talents, anointing, abilities, or sensitivities. You are hidden in plain sight bec...
