Don’t Get It Twisted: God Is the Source, Not the Resource

Don’t Get It Twisted

"Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we could ask or think, according to the power that works within us." – Ephesians 3:20

Don’t get it twisted. The Kingdom principle of divine provision reminds us that God is the Source of all supply, while people, places, and things are merely resources or conduits through which that supply flows. By keeping your focus on the Source within you God’s power at work you maintain prosperity, increase, and overflow, even when doors close or channels shift.

Firstly: Don’t Get It Twisted Between the Source and the Resource

God is the Source; everything else is a resource. Resources may change, but the Source never does. When one resource dries up, another can open, but the divine Source within remains constant and unfailing. Never confuse the temporary channel with the eternal Source.

When a job ends, an opportunity closes, or a person departs, remember the same God who provided through that avenue will provide through another. The power to prosper does not lie in the resource, but in the Source that sustains it.

Secondly: Don’t Get It Twisted Between the Electricity and the Conduit

God’s power is like electricity; it flows through various conduits to reach you. The conduit may be a job, a ministry, a relationship, or an opportunity but the true power is divine and internal. The conduit can change, but the current remains the same.

If you mistake the conduit for the electricity, you limit the power of God in your life. The power is already working within you. Stay connected to the divine source, and new conduits will always emerge to carry that power into your circumstances.

Thirdly: Don’t Get the Water Twisted with the Channel

Water represents God’s living supply His Spirit, wisdom, and provision. The channel through which it flows may shift, but the water remains pure, constant, and abundant. When you mistake the channel for the water, you risk spiritual drought. Keep your focus on the Source of the flow, not the vessel it comes through.

"But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." – John 4:14

Conclusion

Remember God is the Source, the Electricity, and the Water within you. Resources, conduits, and channels are vehicles through which divine provision flows, but they are not the ultimate source. When life’s channels shift or resources seem limited, turn inward to the Spirit of God working in you. Stay connected to the divine flow, and prosperity, increase, and overflow will never cease.

đź“– Reflection: Have you been depending more on the resource than the Source? How can you redirect your trust to God within you?

đź’ˇ Action Step: Affirm daily: “God is my Source. Resources may change, but the Source never fails.”

There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? There’s a Grace on Your Life

There’s a Grace on Your Life "By grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."    Ephesians 2:8 (KSB)    In Ephesians chapter 2, one word stands out repeatedly: grace . But what is grace? Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His love poured out on us, not based on anything we've done or failed to do. It’s not about what we think or don’t think. It’s simply a gift. A beautiful, divine surprise.  Imagine receiving an unexpected bonus at work, you did your job, and suddenly you're given more than you earned. That’s grace. It comes when you least expect it and fills you with joy and wonder. This is how God extends His grace freely, abundantly, and lovingly.  Throughout Ephesians 2, Paul highlights how grace is woven into our salvation. “By grace you are saved” means you didn’t do it yourself. Salvation is the awakening in your spirit to the truth that  you are God's beloved .   ...

You Are in God’s Will: How to Receive Your Divine Inheritance

You Are in God’s Will: How to Receive Your Divine Inheritance "In whom also we have obtained an inheritance because we were predestined according to the purpose of God, who works all things after the counsel of Divine Will."  Ephesians 1:11    Affirmation: My health is optimal because it’s God’s will that all of my relationships are harmonious.                                                    Ephesians 1:11 reminds us that we have obtained an inheritance through Christ. If earthly parents and grandparents can leave behind an inheritance of tangible and intangible value land, homes, recipes, wisdom, or even prayer, how much greater is the inheritance from our heavenly Father?  An inheritance implies that someone thought of you before their passing, made intentional plans, and had a desire for your future. Similarly,...
