Kingdom Perfection: Love in God's Eternal Plan
"And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath." – 1 Thessalonians 1:10
God is not against me but for me. He is not punishing me but preparing me, not hurting me but healing me, and not condemning me but teaching me. This truth reveals the perfection of God’s Kingdom, which is fundamentally built on love. God’s Kingdom is inclusive and welcoming, inviting every person regardless of age, race, gender, education, socioeconomic status, orientation, background, religion, denomination, political affiliation, or personal challenges. Every individual is embraced because God loves us unconditionally.
God is not punishing me but preparing me. Life’s difficult seasons may seem like punishment, but they are, in reality, God’s way of preparing us for something greater. The punishment that should have been ours was borne by Jesus. He took God’s wrath upon Himself through His suffering and death. Those who accept Christ are no longer under wrath or condemnation. Instead, God trains, shapes, and equips us through life’s experiences, using them as preparation for a higher purpose.
God is not hurting me but healing me. The pain we face is not God’s desire to harm us but part of a divine healing process. Jesus endured great suffering for us, but God’s intention is always restoration. Though healing may involve discomfort, His love ensures that the end result is complete wholeness and renewal.
God is not condemning me but teaching me. His heart is not to fill us with guilt, shame, or condemnation, but to guide us into growth and maturity. Just as Jesus learned obedience through His suffering, we too learn valuable lessons in our struggles. God’s discipline is never about shame, it is about love, teaching, and guiding us toward His perfect will.
In conclusion, God’s love is perfect and everlasting. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, our light and darkness, yet He loves us completely. Through Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection, we are freed from wrath, punishment, and condemnation. Instead, we are called to embrace the truth that God prepares, heals, and teaches us as manifestations of His Kingdom perfection, which is love. Let the simple affirmation “God loves me” remind us daily of this unchanging truth.
