Divine Order: How to Live in God’s Perfect Alignment

Peaceful Garden of Eden symbolizing divine order and harmony.

Divine Order: Living in God’s Perfect Alignment (Genesis 3:1–7)

"Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made..." – Genesis 3:1–7

God established divine order in the Garden of Eden from the very beginning. He created all things with purpose, gave humanity choices, set consequences, and provided clear commands. Everything was arranged in perfect harmony so that by following God’s good, orderly direction, people could live in abundance, peace, and purpose experiencing their own Garden of Eden. When divine order is followed, health, harmony, and provision flow naturally; but when this order is disrupted, disorder and confusion take root.

Firstly, disorder begins with the serpent. In Genesis 3, the serpent was a subject under Eve’s authority because God had given humanity dominion over all living creatures. Yet, when Eve entertained the serpent’s question about God’s command, she allowed a lesser being to challenge divine authority. This is the root of disorder: engaging in debate with what should remain unquestioned divine truth. Maintaining divine order means affirming what God the Superior has said, bringing all subjects and influences under His authority without compromise.

Secondly, Eve faced an internal challenge. She began to view the tree through her own perception, desiring it for wisdom, and in doing so, she exalted her own sight above the “I Am” within her being. The divine order calls for aligning our perceptions and desires under the authority of the Spirit. True wisdom already resides within us through the image and likeness of God. Nothing external can make us wiser; rather, external experiences reveal the wisdom God has already placed inside. Disruption occurs when we elevate our limited perspective over God’s infinite wisdom.

Thirdly, relationships test divine order. After Eve ate the fruit, she gave it to Adam, who also ate. In this moment, Adam allowed his spouse’s influence to take precedence over God’s command. While relationships are sacred and part of divine design, they must never outrank God’s authority. When one values another person or relationship more than God’s direction, chaos and confusion follow. Maintaining divine order requires putting God first even above the closest human relationships—so that peace, provision, and purpose remain intact.

In conclusion, divine order is established right here and right now. Chaos and confusion begin when we reverse God’s structure by engaging a subject instead of honoring the Superior, elevating personal sight over divine wisdom, or prioritizing relationships above God’s order. To live in harmony with Heaven’s design, we must continually bring external influences, internal perceptions, and relational attachments under divine authority. In doing so, we remain grounded in the abundant, orderly life God has already provided.

📖 Reflection: In what area of your life might you be entertaining disorder by listening to a “serpent” instead of God’s Word?

💡 Action Step: Take one practical step today to realign your thoughts, choices, or relationships with divine order.

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Hidden Treasure: You Are a Vessel, Not Just an Instrument

I AM Not an Instrument. I AM a Vessel “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (KSB) Hidden in Plain Sight The image that Paul presents in 2 Corinthians 4 is that of a treasure hidden within an earthen vessel. In the Old Testament, people didn’t have locks, alarm systems, or cameras to protect their valuables. Instead, their belongings were often left exposed, making them vulnerable to thieves and robbers. To safeguard their most valuable treasures, they would hide them in jars of clay—earthen vessels—placing them in plain sight. A thief or robber would never think to look there because it wasn’t an obvious hiding place. Likewise, God has placed something valuable inside of you—a treasure of great worth. Yet, people often fail to see it. You may be right in front of them, but they don’t recognize your gifts, skills, talents, anointing, abilities, or sensitivities. You are hidden in plain sight bec...
