The Power to Recreate: Embracing New Heavens and New Earths

The Power to Recreate

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." – Revelation 21:1

Revelation 21:1 unveils a profound Kingdom truth: people possess the God-given power not only to create or co-create, but to recreate. This day focuses on progression the sacred act of releasing what has been and welcoming what is becoming.

People co-create with God the life they desire and the life they deserve. Because humanity is made in the image and likeness of God, the creative nature of Divinity is alive within every person. As God creates, co-creates, and recreates, so do those who live from divine consciousness.

This power to recreate applies to every experience of life even holidays such as Christmas. Some focus on historical debates about trees, lights, or dates, emphasizing thoughts, words, and actions that were not the highest and the best. Yet people always retain the authority to recreate meaning.

A Christmas tree can be recreated as the Tree of Life. Lights can remind people to let their light shine so others may see good works and glorify God in heaven. Regardless of commercialization or history, people can recreate Christmas and any experience infusing it with purpose, joy, and spiritual significance for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Firstly: God Created Heaven and Earth

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Divine Mind formed heaven as the idea and earth as the manifestation. From the start, creation followed a divine pattern an idea conceived in Mind and expressed in form.

Heaven represents the ideal; earth represents its expression. This original act of creation empowers people today to recreate any aspect of life relationships, traditions, family dynamics, or personal experiences by first reshaping the idea and then allowing a new manifestation to follow.

Secondly: Jesus Recreated Heaven on Earth

Jesus recreated the understanding of heaven and earth when He taught, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Heaven was no longer presented as a distant location, but as a present state of consciousness.

Jesus revealed that whatever is bound on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. People are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus right now. Through His fully human and fully divine life, Jesus demonstrated the Kingdom principle of heaven manifested on earth.

Thirdly: John Envisioned a New Heaven and a New Earth

John declared, “I saw a new heaven and a new earth” because the first heaven and first earth had passed away. This was a revelation of recreation releasing an old idea and an old manifestation to receive something entirely new.

To recreate, people must be willing to let go of what they previously created. Scripture affirms this truth: “If anyone is in Christ, that person is a new creation; old things pass away, and all things become new.”

This principle can be applied to marriage, career, education, community, or seasons such as a new year. People can release the first heaven (old idea) and first earth (old manifestation) to embrace a new vision and a new expression.

Through thinking (Thoughts), speaking (Theology), and acting (Treatment), people progress in divine co-creation. The question becomes: What will you recreate today?

Conclusion

Embrace the power to recreate through the image of God within you. Allow old ideas and manifestations to pass away, and step boldly into new heavens and new earths designed for abundant life. May God bless and empower this sacred progression.

📖 Reflection: What old idea or manifestation are you being invited to release so that something new can emerge?

💡 Action Step: Identify one area of life to consciously recreate today by choosing a new idea, speaking it with intention, and acting in alignment with it.

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Hidden Treasure: You Are a Vessel, Not Just an Instrument

I AM Not an Instrument. I AM a Vessel “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (KSB) Hidden in Plain Sight The image that Paul presents in 2 Corinthians 4 is that of a treasure hidden within an earthen vessel. In the Old Testament, people didn’t have locks, alarm systems, or cameras to protect their valuables. Instead, their belongings were often left exposed, making them vulnerable to thieves and robbers. To safeguard their most valuable treasures, they would hide them in jars of clay—earthen vessels—placing them in plain sight. A thief or robber would never think to look there because it wasn’t an obvious hiding place. Likewise, God has placed something valuable inside of you—a treasure of great worth. Yet, people often fail to see it. You may be right in front of them, but they don’t recognize your gifts, skills, talents, anointing, abilities, or sensitivities. You are hidden in plain sight bec...

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...
