Holy Ground Is Wherever You Are Right Now

Holy Ground Is Wherever You Are Right Now

"The commander of the Lord’s army replied, ‘Take off your shoes, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.’" – Joshua 5:15

Bare feet standing on holy ground symbolizing Divine presence

Holy ground is right where you are. Holy ground is not confined to a church, mosque, or synagogue, it exists wherever your feet stand. This is because Divinity is the everywhere, evenly present Spirit of absolute good. There is no location where Divine Presence is absent. Every place your feet touch is holy ground.

Wherever you are physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually, you are standing on holy ground. This moment, this place, this season of your life is sacred because Divinity is present right here, right now.

In Joshua’s encounter, the angelic commander instructed him to remove his shoes as an act of recognition and reverence. Whenever we become aware that we are standing on holy ground, a shift occurs. There is often something to release, something to let go, so we may fully honor the sacredness of the moment.

First: Commander Spoke. Divinity speaks directly in the present moment. The Divine voice does not call us elsewhere; it affirms the holiness of our exact position and awakens us to the awareness of Divine Presence right where we are.

Second: Shoes Removed. Removing the shoes symbolizes releasing what is no longer aligned with the highest good. This includes Thinking (thoughts), Theology (words), and Treatment (actions). Let go of beliefs, speech, and behaviors that do not honor the holy ground beneath your feet.

Third: Stand Still. Pause intentionally. Stand firm in stillness. Allow yourself to fully inhabit the sacred reality of this moment without rushing ahead. Divine placement unfolds as you honor where you are now.

This is a kingdom principle of Divine placement: right where you are is holy ground. Recognize it. Release what hinders you. Stand still in sacred awareness. Divinity meets you here and now, offering abundant life.

Right Where You Are! (Joshua 5:15)
   1. Commander Spoke
   2. Shoes Removed
   3. Stand Still

📖 Reflection: What thoughts, words, or actions might you need to release to fully recognize the holy ground where you are right now?

💡 Action Step: Pause today and intentionally acknowledge Divine Presence in your current situation. Affirm aloud, “Right where I am is holy ground.”

Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the...
The Sacred Sunday Posture:  Kneeling “ A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees; if you are willing, you can make me clean (Mark 1:40).” In addition to bowing your heads and closing your eyes, many people learn to “get on your knees and pray.” Often, it’s at night before going to sleep. Parents instruct their children to kneel on the side of the bed and say their prayers. Perhaps you have fond memories of kneeling and reciting the Lord’s Prayer or the 23 rd Psalm. Or maybe you were taught, like me, “Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake. I pray the Lord, my soul, to take. God bless mommy, daddy...” Kneeling is a physical way to revere God as your Creator and remember that God is your Source. “Know that it is the Lord, who is God. It is he that has made us and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3).” Without reverencing and ...

There’s a Grace on Your Life

There’s a Grace on Your Life "By grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."    Ephesians 2:8 (KSB)    In Ephesians chapter 2, one word stands out repeatedly: grace . But what is grace? Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His love poured out on us, not based on anything we've done or failed to do. It’s not about what we think or don’t think. It’s simply a gift. A beautiful, divine surprise.  Imagine receiving an unexpected bonus at work, you did your job, and suddenly you're given more than you earned. That’s grace. It comes when you least expect it and fills you with joy and wonder. This is how God extends His grace freely, abundantly, and lovingly.  Throughout Ephesians 2, Paul highlights how grace is woven into our salvation. “By grace you are saved” means you didn’t do it yourself. Salvation is the awakening in your spirit to the truth that  you are God's beloved .   ...
