The Power of the Present Moment: Living Fully in God’s Now

The Power of the Present Moment – (Hebrews‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬)

"But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness." – Hebrews 3:13 (KSB)

There is great power in the present moment. Many people become trapped by thoughts tied to the past or anxious about the future. Depression often arises from clinging to what has already happened, while anxiety grows from worry about what is yet to come. Yet, the present moment is free of both burdens. Through conscious, deep breathing and awareness, we are drawn into the now, releasing past regrets and future fears. In this sacred space, we encounter love, peace, joy, healing, harmony, and abundance.

The power lies in the here and now. The Divine Presence is always found in the present moment, and within that presence exists fullness of joy, health, peace, and prosperity. Feelings of powerlessness arise when we disconnect from this divine reality and dwell instead in memory or anticipation. Scripture calls us to live fully in today, for it is only in the present that power and divine gifts manifest.

Firstly, many believe that today is not “their day” that joy or breakthrough belongs to some other time. This limiting thought must be replaced with the affirmation: “Today is my day.” Every day is an opportunity to express your highest self and divine purpose. Reject the lie that today is not enough. Embrace the truth that this very moment is filled with God-given opportunity.

Secondly, some feel that their current season is not meant for success, happiness, or prosperity. The truth is, every season is your season. Declare boldly, “This is my season,” and recognize that every moment holds purpose for growth, healing, and blessing. Waiting for another season to live fully is to miss the miracle of the present.

Thirdly, it is easy to think that the time for joy, healing, or change will come later. Yet, now is always the right time. Affirm daily, “Now is my time,” and live in the power and authority that God has given you. Postponing happiness or progress steals the strength that belongs to your present moment.

In conclusion, the present moment is where your true power resides. Being fully present releases the weight of the past and the anxiety of the future. The Divine presence is in the now bringing abundance, peace, and fullness. As Hebrews 3:13 reminds us, encouraging one another daily helps keep hearts soft, strong, and grounded in grace. Today is the day of opportunity and divine favor.

1. Today is my day.
2. This is my season.
3. Now is my time.

Kingdom Practice: Prayer

The House of God – (Hebrews 3:6)

"But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory." – Hebrews 3:6 (KSB)

The author of Hebrews gives a profound truth: the house of God is not just a building, it is a living, spiritual reality. Each of us is the temple of the Holy Spirit, the living dwelling place of the Divine. God doesn’t merely visit us; He abides in us. When we abide in Him, our prayers align with His will, and we experience divine fellowship.

Firstly, the house of God is a house of prayer. This includes both the physical gathering of believers and the spiritual communion of the heart. Wherever people gather in God’s name, the purpose is two-way communication, speaking and listening to the Divine. The house of God welcomes everyone regardless of age, race, gender, background, or circumstance. In His presence, all barriers are broken down and hearts are united in prayer.

Secondly, the house of God is a house of hope. Those who enter often come weary or discouraged but leave renewed. Through fellowship, encouragement, and God’s Word, they rediscover strength. This house of hope reminds us that all will be well through God’s unfailing love. As living temples, we are called to radiate hope and faith wherever we go.

Thirdly, the house of God is a house of glory. Glory is the manifestation of divine nature love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Within this spiritual house, we experience transformation and understand our identity as reflections of God’s image: whole, complete, and beloved. Fellowship with others deepens this experience, yet the glory also resides personally within each believer.

The house of God is a sanctuary of prayer, a fountain of hope, and a reflection of divine glory. May you be reminded today that you are God’s dwelling place, filled with purpose, strength, and light. Let His glory shine through every aspect of your life.

   House of God (Hebrews‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬)

1. House of Prayer
2. House of Hope
3. House of Glory

📖 Reflection: How can you live more fully in God’s presence today, embracing His peace and purpose in the present moment?

💡 Action Step: Take five minutes today to breathe deeply, pray, and affirm: “Today is my day, this is my season, and now is my time.”

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement

Refocus Your Faith: How to Overcome Distraction, Disappointment, and Discouragement "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."   Galatians 5:6 (KSB)    With everything going on around us, it's easy to feel lost. Distractions come quickly, disappointments pile up, and discouragement sneaks in. We all face these moments. But even when we get off track, there is a way back and that path is through our faith, principles, and core values.  When you live your life anchored in principles, it gives you a compass for when the road gets unclear. Knowing your vision, your mission, and your core values makes it easier to realign when life feels out of control. But if you don’t know who you are, how can you get back to being your best self? If you don’t know what you stand on, what can you stand up on after a fall?    Clarity of purpose keeps you ...

Universe Means One Thing: Love

Universe Means One Thing: Love "For all the law is fulfilled in this one word, love: Love your neighbor as yourself."   Galatians 5:14 (KSB)    Sometimes, the word “universe” can feel mysterious even spooky to some. Others think it's irreverent or sacrilegious when used in spiritual conversations. But what if we redefined it? What if “universe” simply meant love? What if it meant God, since God is love?  When we say, “the universe,” we can think of it as pointing to one word love. Just one word. The entire Bible, composed of 66 books and written by over 40 different authors, ultimately speaks to one central theme: love. From beginning to end, this divine book points us toward loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others.  In the Old Testament, God's people had 636 laws civil, ceremonial, and moral. They guided everything from relationships to religious festivals. But then Jesus came and said, “Let me make this simple Love God. Love yourself. L...

Hidden Treasure: You Are a Vessel, Not Just an Instrument

I AM Not an Instrument. I AM a Vessel “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (KSB) Hidden in Plain Sight The image that Paul presents in 2 Corinthians 4 is that of a treasure hidden within an earthen vessel. In the Old Testament, people didn’t have locks, alarm systems, or cameras to protect their valuables. Instead, their belongings were often left exposed, making them vulnerable to thieves and robbers. To safeguard their most valuable treasures, they would hide them in jars of clay—earthen vessels—placing them in plain sight. A thief or robber would never think to look there because it wasn’t an obvious hiding place. Likewise, God has placed something valuable inside of you—a treasure of great worth. Yet, people often fail to see it. You may be right in front of them, but they don’t recognize your gifts, skills, talents, anointing, abilities, or sensitivities. You are hidden in plain sight bec...
