Present Tense Read – Psalm 139:1-18 Scripture : “ Lo, I AM with you always, even unto the end of the age. Amen. (Matthew 28:20) .” Denial : “God has never and will never leave me.” Affirmation : “There is Only One Power and One Presence, and I AM one with that power and presence.” God is omnipresence. God is all the presence there is. There is no  presence outside of God. God is the everywhere, evenly present,  Spirit of Absolute Good. We do not use the limiting adjective, omnipresent, to describe God. Instead, we say, omnipresence,  because no other being can make such a claim.  Omni means all. As human beings, we are not omnipresent. Our  bodies cause us to be in a particular place at a particular time.  Although we are not omnipresent, as heirs of God and joint heirs  with Christ Jesus, our presence makes a difference (Romans 8:17). When we are conscious of the I AM of our being, we can change any environment from negative to positive, just by b...

I AM POSITIVE

I AM Positive   Read – Philippians 4:4-9 Scripture : “ But by the grace of God, I AM what I AM (I Corinthians 15:10) !” Denial – “I refuse to be affected by negativity.” Affirmation – “I AM a positive person. The words I speak are positive prayers. Therefore, I get positive results.” I AM is always positive because it speaks of our God nature. God is  good and always positive. We are made in the image and likeness  of God; therefore, the I AM of our being is always positive (Genesis 1:16-28). God created the worlds through the words (Hebrews 11:3).  God said, “Let there be light and there was light (Genesis 1:5).”  As the beloved offspring of God, we have that same power,  authority, and ability to create our world with our words (Romans  4:17). Therefore, it is imperative that we never attach the words, I  AM, to anything that is not positive. We are never to associate the  words, I AM, with anything that is not our highest good. I...
I AM that I AM Read – Exodus 3:1-22 Scripture : “ And God said unto Moses, I AM that I AM (Exodus 3:14) .” Denial : “There is no limit to the I AM presence.” Affirmation : “God is. I AM. We are!” When God called Moses to bring the children of Israel out of  bondage, Moses was challenged by the assignment. He asked God  for a name to reference when he told Pharaoh, “Let my people go.” I AM THAT I AM is the response Moses was given.  I AM THAT I AM means all sufficiency and all encompassing. I AM  THAT I AM means total self-existence and self-reliance. I AM THAT  I AM means complete independence from anyone or anything else  for life. I AM THAT I AM is all that there is. God is I AM THAT I AM. Another way of saying I AM THAT I AM is  Jehovah. We are made in the image and likeness of the I AM THAT  I AM. Therefore, we are I AM in the earth.  I AM THAT I AM is the God of gods. We are gods. I AM THAT I AM  is King of kings. We are kin...
Scripture, Denial and Affirmation Read – Luke 4:1-13 Scripture : “Beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Spirit (Jude 1:20).” Denial : “I will not tear myself down.” Affirmation : “I consciously choose to build my self-image, self esteem, and self-worth.” Building consciousness through scripture, denials, and affirmations  is a daily spiritual practice that develops your soul (mind, emotions,  intellect, will) over time. Scripture is the Timeless Truth that has been spoken, recorded, written, and translated over time. Denials  renounce that which you do not desire. They do not deny the  existence of external factors, but they deny their power over you (I  John 4:4). Affirmations are the individualization of the truth. It is  powerfully speaking the good desires of your heart. Jesus’ experience in the wilderness is a perfect example of the use  of scripture, denials, and affirmations. Each time his lower level o...

How To Build Consciousness

How to Build Consciousness  Read – Psalm 139:7-12  Scripture: “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence (Psalm 139:7)?”  Denial: “I cannot hide from God. I cannot run from myself.”  Affirmation: “I AM responsible for my own consciousness.”  According to Charles Fillmore, the cofounder of the Unity Movement, “God is the everywhere evenly present, Spirit of Absolute Good.” Consciousness is our awareness of God. There are three different types of consciousness: individual, corporate, and collective. The individual consciousness is our individual awareness of God. The corporate consciousness is a group’s awareness of God (family, community, local assembly, business, school, city, state, country). The collective consciousness is the combined God awareness of every individual and group on the earth. As an individual at any given moment, we can speak from the super consciousness, the sense consciousness, or the subconsciousne...
My Words Have Power! Read – Matthew 12:31-37 Denial: “I release and let go of negative words.” Scripture: “Like the rain falling down from heaven, so will my word flow from my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper and fulfill the purpose for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11).” Affirmation: “What I say about me is more powerful than what  anyone else says about me.”  There is power in the spoken word. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21).” Just as I AM that I AM created the heavens and the earth through words, we as I AMs in the earth create our world through our words. “By faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God (Hebrews 11:3).” As creators, if we are not satisfied with the harvest that our words have produced, then we have the power to change our words and create something different. When we speak, we enter the s...
My Body Scripture: “That which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is  born of spirit is spirit (John 3:6).”  Denial: “My body is not limited to that which is from the crown of  my head to the soles my feet.”  Affirmation: “My body is anything that manifests in the physical  realm.”  “ Read – John 3:1-8 I remember as a young child learning my body parts and singing songs about my body. As a single dad, I stayed home with my twin daughters for the first two years of their lives until they were able to name their body parts. I used the same songs that I learned as a child to teach them about their bodies. One was “Head and shoulders, knees and toes.” Another one that stands out is the Hokey Pokey. You put your left-  in. You take your left-hand out. You put your right-hand in, and you shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey, and you turn yourself  around. That's what it's all about...hokey pokey.” In middle schoo...
