I AM Open and Receptive to Divine, Unlimited Ideas (Mark 7:31-37) “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open (Revelation 3:7).” KSB  When you were born, you entered this world open. You came into the earth through an open womb, you squinted and opened your eyes, and you opened your mouth to be fed and to cry. You began life open. But something happened along the way, a trauma, drama, or some painful experience that caused you to close yourself off. Now, you are on a journey to open up again. The same way something caused you to close, something can happen to help you open. I am on a journey to open, you are on a journey to open, we are on a journey to open, to open our minds to divine, unlimited ideas; to open our hearts to love; to open our eyes to see God and goodness in every person, place, and thing; to open our ears to...
You Give Me Fever (Luke 4:38-39)   We were blessed with divine intelligence at the time of our creation. Our bodies are designed with defense mechanisms against infections, viruses, and diseases. Frequently, when the body is battling an unwelcome foreign element, you will be aware that warfare is taking place because you will be experiencing a fever. The fever was brought on by something. What's the reason behind your fever? What's keeping your health from being at its best?   What's keeping your relationships from working well together? Are medications preventing your wealth from overflowing? What's causing your fever? Is alcohol the cause of your fever? Are smokes the cause of your fever? What's causing your fever, sexual activity, pornography, or both? What aspect of your life is out of control, gambling-wise? Who is the source of your fever? Are you infatuated with someone? Are you addicted to a drug or behavior that prevents you from living life to the fu...
Hurt People Don’t Have to Hurt People (Proverbs 27:6) It’s a choice! Just because you have been hurt does not mean you must hurt somebody else. I know it’s common in the collective consciousness that "hurt people hurt people," but let me tell you, hurt people don’t have to hurt people. It is a choice. Hurt people can hurt people. That’s a choice, but that’s not the only choice. You can make a higher choice. If the people who are hurt get help, they can, in turn, help somebody else. Just because you have been hurt does not mean that you have to live in that hurt, stay in that hurt, or hurt yourself as a result of being hurt, or try to hurt that person back, or seek vengeance. Hurt people can help people. When you are hurt, get the help that you need. Go to counseling, journal, get a coach, and work through those emotions, that hurt, that pain, that discomfort, that disease, and that dysfunction. Because you are hurt, you can get help; when you get help, you can help some...
Pay Attention to the Signs (John 2:13)  I AM a sign, which means that God flows through my life to give various signs and messages to me and others. I surrender and submit to allow God to flow through my life to be a sign. A sign gets people’s attention. A sign causes people to recognize. It stands out, something out of the norm, something spectacular. A sign. I AM a sign. You are supernatural. You are extraordinary. You are excellent. You are outstanding. You are a sign. Can you affirm "I AM a sign"? Sometimes, the sign that I am reflecting is a stop sign to stop the ego. There have been times when I have gotten arrogant, heavy, or high-minded, and I had to be brought down. That’s a sign in my life to stay humble. "Humble yourself, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, and God will exalt you in due time. If you exalt yourself, you are going to be a beast."  The Bible says that the Holy Spirit comes before the fall, and pride goes before destruction. So, I got...
  - I AM a Miracle (Acts 10:38)    I AM a miracle, and guess what? You are a miracle, too! We are miracles. Not only have we experienced miracles in our lives, but we are, in fact, miracles; not only has spirit flowed through us to perform miracles, but we ourselves are miracles.   We are miracles, and I am a miracle. When we think about miracles, we think about healing, health, and wholeness. When you think about a miracle, you feel about letting go of sickness, pain, disease, discomfort, or dysfunction in your body, mind, and soul. So, I AM a miracle.   I have experienced physical healing in my life because I AM a miracle. When I   was growing up, my nose used to bleed like water every summer. It would be so hot, and Baltimore that my nose would just bleed, and God healed me of my bleed. I live in Florida now, and no matter how high it gets, my nose does not bleed because I AM a miracle. God healed me physically of those nosebleeds; I used to h...
Give Me A Moment (Matthew 17:4) Give me a moment. Have you ever just needed a moment a time out, a break, or maybe a huddle with your friends? Give me a moment. There is a difference between a moment and a minute. A minute is 60 seconds, while a moment is an undisclosed period of time. A moment can last a few minutes, a few hours, a few days, a few weeks, or even a few months. Jesus called His core disciples Peter, James, and John up to the mountain so they could have a moment with Him. In that moment on the mountain, Jesus was transfigured. And for us to experience transfiguration, which is an external, physical change, we first need to be transformed internally. It doesn’t take long for a change to happen. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we can be changed. Peter, James, and John had a moment with Jesus on that mountain. Not all the disciples were there, but the core group Peter, James, and John were with Jesus in the moment where He was transformed. “Be not ...
Really Peter (Matthew 16:23)   Peter shows us a full spectrum of consciousness, reflecting all the different points along our journey, this love journey, this wholeness path, this kingdom voyage. Peter had a revelation when Jesus asked His disciples, "Who do people say I am?" To get the scuttlebutt, the gossip, the word on the street, the disciples responded, "Some say you are Jeremiah, Elijah, John the Baptist, or one of the prophets." But Jesus took the conversation deeper. He asked, "But who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "Thou art the Christ." That's what Peter said. "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God," Peter declared. Peter had a revelation. Jesus said, "Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father who is in heaven." Peter had a revelation, but when the anointing lifted, we saw a different side of Peter. We have apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, but who are you...
