You Give Me Fever (Luke 4:38-39)

We were blessed with divine intelligence at the time of our creation. Our bodies are designed with defense mechanisms against infections, viruses, and diseases. Frequently, when the body is battling an unwelcome foreign element, you will be aware that warfare is taking place because you will be experiencing a fever. The fever was brought on by something. What's the reason behind your fever? What's keeping your health from being at its best?

What's keeping your relationships from working well together? Are medications preventing your wealth from overflowing? What's causing your fever? Is alcohol the cause of your fever? Are smokes the cause of your fever? What's causing your fever, sexual activity, pornography, or both? What aspect of your life is out of control, gambling-wise? Who is the source of your fever? Are you infatuated with someone? Are you addicted to a drug or behavior that prevents you from living life to the fullest and being the best version of yourself that is causing you fever?

Knowing the cause will help me fight it, as our weapons are not karma but powerful through God to bring down strongholds. We fight principalities and powers, not flesh and blood, but against the rulers of darkness in this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places in your mind, casting down imaginations and everything exalted that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing it into captivity, into the obedience of God. What's the cause of your fever? What are you fighting for? You must put on the whole armor of God, including the breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the spirit, the shield of faith, the belt of what you are fighting against, the gospel of peace evaporating beneath your feet, and the armor of salvation. After all, there is a fight.

A battle is taking place, but it's not outside of you; instead, it's within you, much like when your body fights an infection, a virus, or bacteria. Regarding spiritual battle, it's all about what's happening inside you rather than the devil, satan, or demon. You are engaged in internal warfare, but it is waged in the same manner that we identify and treat the illness's source. You are battling against those antiquated modes of being, seeing, thinking, speaking, and doing. The temperature can subside.

Jesus left the synagogue and went to Peter's mother-in-law's house. She was sick and could not serve them because she was in bed. When they arrived at her house, there was no fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, string beans, homemade biscuits, or sweet potato pie. She was also unable to feed them because she was ill in bed. She could not serve because of a fever, and I know how near the synagogue is to Peter's mother-in-law's home because I have been to Israel. What prevents you from getting out of bed and using the abilities, talents, skills, calling, anointing, and sensitivities God has given you?

However, when Jesus entered the home, he demonstrated that miracles don't only happen in the synagogue and sanctuary he also made a house call. She was healed by Jesus when He arrived at the house; her fever broke, and she got up to serve them, exercise her gift of hospitality, and start working in the ministry of health because she had a task to complete for God that she would be better able to do after her fever subsided. There are greater works inside of you, but the fever must break. I am telling you when the fever breaks, I see you standing fast in a liberated way with Christ, who set you free and not getting entangled with yoga once more.

There is a message that you must preach; there is a song that you must write and sing; there is a poem that is yet to be completed; the fever must break. I see the object that is tying you up; the noose is loose around your neck, and the shackles are gone. Just as the fever came, it can go and break so that you can be your greatest self and live your best life. I see the fever breaking and you being free. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Are You a People Pleaser (Matthew 14:6) 06 February 2024   Who are you pleasing today? Some of us are people pleasers. We live our entire lives trying to please people, trying to get their approval and validation. We get pleasure out of pleasing other people, and so we do everything looking for people to be pleased with us.   Are you living your life for people, trying to please people? Some of us try to please ourselves, and we forget people. I AM    pleasing myself, and so all our lives are consumed with self-pleasure, and immediate gratification, and so we live our lives pleasing ourselves, or are you pleasing God? Are you living your life with one purpose: to please God? Are you concerned with whether or not God is pleased with you? At the end of the day, when God says well done, thou good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things. I will make you rule over me. That’s what I Am living for.   I am living to please God; I desi...
The Kingdom is About Growth (Matthew 13:24-30)   The kingdom is about growth, not condemnation, judgment, sin, abomination, transgression, or iniquity. The kingdom of God is about growth. Jesus said it is like wheat and weeds, or "tares," as some versions say. As you grow, once you plant a seed in the ground, you don’t just get what you get; you also get weeds. As you keep growing, you will outgrow any behavior, any way of being, seeing, thinking, speaking, or acting that is not like God; you will outgrow it. Stop trying to pull up the weeds and keep growing. Stop trying to put people out of your life because some of the people you think are weeds are really wheat, and some of the people you feel are wheat might not be. Just keep growing, and it will automatically separate. Jesus said the growth in the kingdom is like a mustard seed. It starts as the smallest seed, but it’s potent. So do not despise the days of small beginnings; keep growing. Don’t compare yourself to a...
I AM a Good Tree and I Bring Forth Good Fruit (Matthew 12:3) I AM a good tree, and I bring forth good fruit. I was created that way. When God made everything, He spoke over the creation and said it was good. When He got to human beings, He said not only were we good, but we were very good. Affirm with me today: I AM a good tree because I was created that way. It doesn’t matter what anybody else says; I was created good. God said I was very good.   Good is the essence of who I AM. Because I AM a good tree, not only was I created that way, but I also continue in that way. My good is a continuation of how I was created. Because I AM a good tree and I was created that way, my way of being is good. The energy and aura that come from me that exudes from me are good because I AM a good tree. How I see people, places, and things is good because I AM a good tree. I can’t help but see the good in God and people because I was created that way, so I continue that way. My way of th...
