Run Tell That (Matthew 11:5) People like a little tea, they like a little gossip, they like to know that he said this, she said that. That’s why the tabloids make so much money, and reality shows are so popular. People like getting into other folks' businesses to escape from their own lives. They get into other people's lives and then tell somebody else, “Girl, did you hear?” That’s what was happening in our text today with John the Baptist. He sent his disciples to put their noses in Jesus' business. He was questioning if Jesus was the Messiah. Is He really the savior of the world? So, they were investigating, gossiping, and putting their nose in His business. Jesus said, "You know what? Run tell that. Since you're looking, I'm going to give you a show. I'll give you something to go and run and tell back to John." I know he is in prison again for putting his nose in somebody else’s business. “Who’s sleeping with who,” he said, but let me give y
Why Me? God’s Glory (Romans 8:18) Why? That's a question often in our Souls. Why is this happening to me? Why am I having this experience? Why am I facing this health challenge? There's an answer! Why am I having these relationship challenges? There’s an answer, and it’s the same one. Why am I having this financial challenge? There’s an answer! There’s an answer to every question in your Soul, and the answer is glory. The reason for every experience in your life is so that God can get the glory. The purpose of all our challenges is not to bring us down but to transform us and bring glory to God. Why am I having this test, this trial, this tribulation? So God can get the glory. Why am I experiencing this persecution, this headache, this pain? So, God can get the glory. Why am I witnessing this miracle, sign, or wonder? So, God can get the glory. Why am I having this challenge in my local assembly, in my ministry, in my business, and in my organization? So God can get the
Hurt People Don’t Have to Hurt People (Proverbs 27:6) It’s a choice! Just because you have been hurt does not mean you must hurt somebody else. I know it’s common in the collective consciousness that "hurt people hurt people," but let me tell you, hurt people don’t have to hurt people. It is a choice. Hurt people can hurt people. That’s a choice, but that’s not the only choice. You can make a higher choice. If the people who are hurt get help, they can, in turn, help somebody else. Just because you have been hurt does not mean that you must live in that hurt, stay in that hurt, or hurt yourself as a result of being hurt, or try to hurt that person back, or seek vengeance. Hurt people can help people. When you are hurt, get the help that you need. Go to counseling, journal, get a coach, and work through those emotions, that hurt, that pain, that discomfort, that disease, and that dysfunction. Because you are hurt, you can get help; when you get help, you can help somebod
I AM a Miracle (Acts 10:38)  I AM a miracle, and guess what? You are a miracle, too! We are miracles. Not only have we experienced miracles in our lives, but we are miracles. Not only does Spirit flow through us to perform miracles, but we are miracles.  We are miracles, and I am a miracle. When we think about miracles, we think of healing, health, and wholeness. So, when you think about a miracle, think about letting go of sickness, pain, disease, discomfort, or dysfunction in your body, mind, and soul. I Am a miracle.  I have experienced physical healing in my life because I AM a miracle. When I  was growing up, my nose used to bleed like water.  Every summer it would be so hot in  Baltimore that my nose would just bleed. God healed me. I live in Florida now, and no matter how hot it gets, my nose does not bleed because I AM a miracle. God healed me physically of those nosebleeds; I used to have chronic back pain, and my back I would not be able to walk; I would be in bed, experien
