I Color it Good! The Kingdom Key of Good & Evil

READ | Genesis 2:15-17

“Finally, family, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).”

The Kingdom Key of Good and Evil does not suggest that evil does not exist. It just empowers us not to focus on negativity or to give evil power through our thoughts, words, and actions. Instead, we choose to see and focus on God and the good, in every person, in every place and in everything.

We see good in every place. There is no God forsaken place. God is omnipresence. Therefore, God is in every place (Proverbs 15:3). When our hearts are pure, we see God in every person, in every place and in everything (Matthew 5:8).

We see ourselves and others as only good because we were made in the image and likeness of God, who is excellent and called us very good. We are good not because of our thoughts, words, or actions. We are good because God said that we were good when God created us (Genesis 1:25, 31). Therefore, our baseline or minimum is good. We are never evil. We are never bad. On our worst day, we are at least good. We see others as good also. There is good in every person because the breath of God flows through each person (Deuteronomy 30:14). We choose to focus on the good in people and building them up as opposed to focusing on their faults and breaking them down.
